I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec cheekily mocked Jamie Lynn Spears, who is famously known for being the younger sister of Britney Spears, by suggesting she is less famous than the pair’s brother, Bryan Spears.
The former Nickelodeon actress explained to UK viewers, who may not be aware of the Louisiana-born star, explained she is also a country music singer prior to entering the jungle.
The 32 year old briefly touched on her family life with her dad Jamie Spears, mum Lynne and her popular older sister but has made it clear she had a fully-fledged career in her own right.
However, some viewers have since claimed Jamie Lynn has made a rule to not mention her world famous sister.
Speaking on Monday night’s show, Ant and Dec, both 47, couldn’t resist taking a cheeky dig at the jungle contestant.
“Jamie Lynn Spears, actress and singer,” Dec commented. “But maybe best known for having one of the most famous siblings in the world.”

Ant interjected: “Bryan Spears,” which was met with laughter from the behind the scenes crew.
He went on: “I can’t believe we’ve got ‘The’ Bryan Spears sister on this show. Remember guys, Jamie Lynn is her own person in her own right. Not just Bryan Spears’ sister… alright.”
Social media users flocked to X, formerly Twitter, and reacted to the presenting duo’s cheeky swipe as they all said the same thing.
One person commented: “Ant & Dec mocking Jamie Lynn’s obvious ‘don’t mention Britney’ rule is top tier.”

Another wrote: “Ant & Dec’s running joke referring to the obvious clause in Jamie Lynn’s contract that says DO NOT MENTION BRITNEY SPEARS is going to have me cackling every might. When she comes out and sees this on every single episode???”
A third quipped: “The name of Jamie Lynn Spears’ Sibling… ‘Brian spears’.”(sic)
“British sense of humor is top tier,” another remarked.
While a fifth person added: “I wonder how many people just learned about Bryan’s existence from this read LMAO.” (sic)
Bryan is the older brother of Jamie Lynn and Britney, and in the latter’s memoir Woman In Me, the singer recalls being close to him until he began working for the Toxic hitmaker.
Years after Britney became famous, in 2003, Bryan became part of Britney’s management team.
She has been less vocal about their relationship since he became involved in her conservatorship which has since ended.
Jamie Lynn has since addressed her older sister while speaking to First Dates’ Fred Sirieix who wanted to learn more about his co-star’s upbringing and quizzed her as she lounged in her hammock.
He asked: “So where do you live?”
Jamie Lynn replied: “I live in the country. We have like 180 acres.”
Diving straight in with the question everyone wanted, Fred replied: “Wow, like a ranch? Your sister is obviously a superstar, you’re a superstar, why? How come the both of you, what made it?”
Jamie Lynn replied: “I think every family fights and has their stuff but I talked to her before I came here and we love each other.”
