Nigel Farage chats about risks of entering I’m A Celebrity
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! contestant Nigel Farage could “explode” when grilled futher on Brexit, according to behavioural psychologist Jo Hemmings.
Last night, the former UKIP leader was forced to defend his Brexit beliefs after First Dates star Fred Sirieix gave him a grilling about his policy.
Now, Jo believes more is to come from 59-year-old Nigel and next time, he may not be as calm.
Speaking on behalf of William Hill Vegas, Hemmings said: “There will be a ticking time bomb moment where someone will ask Nigel Farage his real views and he’ll explode. He’s said he wants to show viewers the real him – but what does the real him really look like?
“It’s only a matter of time until there’s a campfire conversation – instigated by someone a little older who’s more aware of his extreme views over the years, like Grace Dent or Fred Sirieix – when someone attempts to dig a bit deeper on his views.

“It will be really interesting to see if he will be guarded, or if he’ll let something slip – and chances are, if he does, it won’t serve him well.”
During Monday’s episode Nigel and Fred had an awkward exchange about their different views on Brexit.
The First Dates star quizzed the politician on what the benefits of leaving the EU were, to which he replied: “To know that we’re independent, we stand on our own two feet in the world.”
Fred then went on to share his opinion about the anti-migrant poster Nigel unveiled as UKIP’s leader, which showed a long queue of migrants under the slogan Breaking Point.
He said: “The thing is the intolerance that came because Brexit was about immigration, I remember your poster.

“I thought it was shameful what you did Nigel. Shameful.”
The television personality added he felt the poster was about “demonising migrants”, to which Nigel replied: “In your view it was, but it wasn’t.”
Later on in the Bush Telegraph, Nigel reflected on their conversation from camp.
“I knew it wouldn’t take long, I knew politics would rear its head as indeed it did,” he spilled. “And Fred feels very strongly about it.”
Jo also believes, much like last year’s politician Matt Hancock, the public will want to see Nigel suffer.
“Farage just wants to come across as a normal, decent bloke.
“Will he succeed in changing the general public’s perception of him?
“No. Unlike Hancock, however great he may do in the jungle, it won’t make any difference to how the public ultimately view him,” she added.
Despite her views, he narrowly avoided the latest Bushtucker Trial which will be taken on by Nella Rose, aired tonight.
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! airs daily at 9pm on ITV.
