I’m A Celeb’s Jacqueline Jossa didn’t tell kids she will be in the Oz jungle

I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here star Jacqueline Jossa's kids are in for a shock as she didn't tell them she was going into the jungle for three weeks.

No doubt husband Dan Osborne will ensure he tunes in to watch his stunning wife on the reality TV show every night for three weeks.

So Ella, four, and Mia, one, will be surprised when they see their mum taking part in the Bush Tucker trials and larking about camp in Oz.

Ahead of her stint, the mother-of-two said she couldn't find it in her heart to tell her children she was going to be in the jungle for three weeks.

She explained: “I didn’t know how to face even telling them. In the end, I thought the best idea was to say ‘mummy is going away for work’ and I would see them soon. My family is so close-knit and I will miss them all terribly.”

The mother also said she was going to struggle being away from her two little girls whom she is usually inseparable from.

She added: “This is definitely the longest I have ever been away from them and that is going to be really hard."

The girls will remain in the care of their dad at their home while Jacqueline battles the outdoors.

Husband Dan threw all his support behind his wife for partaking on the show after he said reality TV had saved their marriage.

Jacqueline said: “He thinks I am going to be good. He is excited and he’s coming over to meet me when I come out.”

Despite not wanting to be torn away from her children, Jacqueline said she wanted the opportunity to show she wasn't a pushover.

The former EastEnders star confessed she thinks people "pity" her after her marriage hit headlines while her husband Dan Osborne was seen partying with a bevy of women on a number of occasions.

However, the mother-of-two insisted she isn't a "doormat" and she hopes her upcoming appearance on I'm A Celebrity will show she is "fine".

She said: “I think people think I am a pushover or a doormat.

“I also think some people pity me. I want to show I am fine, I am up for a laugh and that I will go for it and try my best.”
