Inside Rochelle Humes Galentines dinner party with I Love You apples and roses

Rochelle Humes started her Valentine's Day celebrations early this year and recently threw a fun 'Galentine's' dinner party.

The Saturdays star, 33, hosted a themed evening at her family home for her close friends on Friday, and gave her fans a glimpse into the celebrations on Instagram.

Rochelle, who recently took her eldest daughter Alaia-Mai to meet the Princess of Wales, pulled out all of the stops for her girls' night in and made sure to cook a selection of delicious dishes for everyone to tuck into.

The mum-of-three also decorated her dining table with a series of Valentines-themed goods including single red roses wrapped in red bows and a selection of candles.

She shared clips of the table on Instagram as she got set to welcome her guests, and also showed off the impressive selection of tasty treats she'd cooked up in the kitchen.

Alongside a photo of the appetisers she'd made, Rochelle proudly wrote: "Happy with them… I love Galentines…"

She'd also had red apples printed with 'I love you' and a heart for each of her dinner guests, who tucked into an array of vegetables and pasta, washed down with cocktails.

Rochelle's Galentine's dinner comes after she was the picture-perfect proud mum as her daughter Alaia met Kate Middleton at a London event earlier this week.

The mum-of-three attended the Princess of Wales’ Shaping Us initiative at a glitzy reception at BAFTA in London on Monday. Kate, 41, recently launched her new project, which aims to improve society's understanding of the importance of early childhood in shaping adulthood and society as a whole.

Alaia-Mai, nine, looked adorable as she sported a chic floral print dress with a high neck collar and lace trim detail as she stood beside her mum.

Rochelle delivered a speech at the event and shared clips on Instagram afterwards of the special moment. She told fans: “What a truly special night. If there is ever an opportunity to lend my voice and my platform to raising awareness to key topics I’m passionate about, I will always say yes.

“I was therefore compelled when invited by HRH The Princess of Wales to speak at the launch of #ShapingUp.

“@earlychildhood is raising awareness of how the first five years of life shape the rest of our lives, as during this period our brains develop faster than at any other time. It also brings into focus how every single person in our society has a role to play in supporting children and their parents.”

Rochelle continued to say the subject is “very close” to her heart and has been championing the campaign since first learning about it during the pandemic.
