A SHOPPING pro has revealed the best £2 buy to add to your cart at any supermarket that will help prevent condensation and keep the heat inside, too. 

Mik Zenon took to his social media account to share the clever hack, explaining that he originally bought it from online retail store Amazon. 

“Amazon winter finds,” he first said, before adding: “If you have a window that makes a room cold, this insulating film goes around your window.” 

He then taped each wall around the window and added the film over the top of it. 

Using a hair dryer, he then smoothed the entire film down to secure it in place, which helps prevent condensation. 

“The shrink wrap on the window keeps the room warm, you pay less and it comes off in seconds,” he added.

While Mik paid £10 for the kit, you can create the same effect using £2 cling film from any supermarket, including Tesco. 

But this wasn’t TikTok user @mik.zenon’s only trick for the winter as he went on: “A clip that attaches to your Kindle that lets you turn pages without lifting a finger”. 

He then revealed a shirt and collar combo that you can wear with a jumper over it, which prevents you from overheating. 

Mik also found a pair of slippers that you can heat up by placing inside the microwave, a heating pad for pets, and a double jumper for you and your partner.

People were quick to comment as one person wrote: “Saran Wrap. The first item is literally just Saran Wrap. This a thing they do in places like northern Maine. Just get Saran Wrap”.

Saran wrap is the American version of cling film, further confirming that the hack would work just as well with a £2 buy. 

A second simply shared: “Want,” as a third posted: “The first one!” 

And a fourth posted: “Not the film that has been out for 40 years that they sell everywhere by 3m”.
