Inside Take That's vigorous exercise regime ahead of their tour

Inside Take That’s vigorous exercise regime ahead of their tour: A high protein, no carb diet, daily ice baths and working out five times a week

Take That are set to return to the stage with another album and tour next year.

And ahead of their 2024 tour, the boys have revealed their secrets to how they keep in shape after 30 years in the business.

Speaking to The Mirror, Gary Barlow, 52, Mark Owen, 51, and Howard Donald, 55, revealed what their weekly exercise regime’s consists of.

According to the 90s pop stars, daily magnesium ice baths, F45 workouts four or five times a week, stretching and a high protein, low carb diet is the trick to staying young, healthy and fit.

Explaining his top tips, Gary said: ‘Move and get out, that’s what my dad used to say. I’ve tried everything, I really have.

‘It’s a mental thing for me, and exercise makes me happy. I see it as a way to make my mind clearer and in turn makes my day better.’

Despite the group reuniting again, fans will be missing Robbie Williams, 49, and Jason Orange, 53, who have still decided against reuniting with the group.

Howard recalled something he learnt back in the day when it was a five man group and said: ‘Jason was massively into exercise so we’ve learnt a lot from him back in the early days. We’re lucky that we’ve had some really good teachers.’

Mark also confessed that he misses the old break-dancing on stage and said that he would ‘love to do some of those old moves again.’

He stressed the importance of the group having magnesium in baths post-show as it allows the salt to soak up in the muscles and reduce inflammation which helps with sleep.

The 90s pop group got together after six years away to put together their ninth album This Life, with a new single called Windows releasing in November.

Solo artist Robbie hasn’t returned to the band since 2011 before Jason left for good in 2014.

In June, the three stars left in the band opened up about Robbie leaving the hit band in 1995 in their ITVX exclusive documentary, 30 Years in the Making.

They discussed their regrets on how they wished they had spoke about what The Angels singer was feeling before he walked out on the group.

Howard said: ‘To have someone close to you that you can speak to about your feelings, that’s one of the things we never ever did in the 90s, hence why Robbie left.

‘We never discussed what he was feeling before he left that room. We look back at that moment and think we wished we could have talked more.

‘I wonder if it could have saved him leaving. It was a massive lease of life for me to get everyone back together again.’

Previously Robbie revealed why he left Take That, in the middle of their Nobody Else world tour, and admitted he ‘isn’t proud’ of things he said during the infamous feud with Gary which ensued.

In an interview last year, the Let Me Entertain You singer admitted he was ‘in the middle of a nervous breakdown’ when he parted ways with the boyband, confessing that he felt like he ‘was in some sort of burning building and needed to get out’.
