ITV Im A Celebritys Fred Sirieix blasts Josie Gibson as he says shes making it up

Fred Sirieix has become the latest – and third – campmate to be evicted from this year's I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

The French maître d'hôtel, known for his leading role in Channel 4's First Dates and his travel shows with Gordon Ramsay and Gino D'Campo, was one of the biggest names to enter the jungle. But unfortunately for him, his time in camp was cut short.

During his stint in the jungle, it became obvious that Fred wanted to take charge of the kitchen. This made sense to both his fellow campmates and the nation, considering his ample experience in the service industry.

However, when he had to pass on his head chef role to Josie Gibson after former campmate and camp leader Nella Rose appointed the This Morning star, things started to unravel. Mainly due to Josie admitting that she didn't cook at home, and Fred wanting to make sure that all the ingredients were used to their full potential.

This underlying tension was addressed by both Frankie Dettori and Tony Bellew, who warned that if it wasn't addressed, it could "escalate."

While Fred no longer has to worry about seasoning rice and beans, the 51 year old has spoken out about Josie and the kitchen situation after being pressed by hosts Ant and Dec during his exit interview.

"[Josie] doesn't know what she does in the kitchen, she's just making it up as she goes along. I think there's a lot at stake with the food and it's not just what you're cooking at the moment, which, of course is going to be good because the produce here are incredible, it's what you can do the next day with the leftovers or the bones and how you're able to recycle everything," he reflected.

"You really need the calories and you've got to find them wherever you can. I think we missed out on quite a good few meals," Fred added.

Despite Fred and Josie clashing in the jungle, their campfire bickering doesn't appear to be too deep of an issue on the outside.

Upon Fred's entrance to the five star JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, where he was greeted by his ex campmates Nella and Frankie, plus the families of the remaining celebs, he had a sweet moment with Josie's son Reggie.

Bending down to greet him and give the five year old a hug, he said: "Hey Reggie how are you? Are you OK? Your mum is doing so well. Are you looking forward to seeing her?" to which the youngster nodded in response.
