A ticket holder has scooped a massive £3.8million jackpot in Saturday’s National Lottery draw.

It is the second successive jackpot win after a £5.2 million pot was won on Wednesday. 

The estimated jackpot for the next draw on Wednesday is £2 million. 

The winning Lotto numbers were 01, 08, 14, 20, 24 and 40 – while the bonus number was 52. 

As well as the jackpot winner, two other tickets also landed £1 million each after matching five of the six numbers plus the bonus.

Set of balls two and draw machine Merlin were used. 

There were no winners of the £350,000 top prize for Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw. 

Fifteen ticket holders took home £13,000 each by matching four of the five numbers. 

The winning Thunderball numbers were 08, 17, 20, 29 and 31 – and the Thunderball was 03. 

There was more success as one lucky ticket holder won £500,000 by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball. 

Six players also matched all five main numbers, earning them £5,000 each.
