James Corden is given a telling off for the parking of his Lime bike

Should’ve put up a Corden! James is given a telling off for parking his Lime bike right in front of Mayfair restaurant as doorman awkwardly confronts star

James Corden was given a telling off for parking his Lime bike right in front of Mayfair restaurant on Monday.

The comedian, 44, has just returned to the UK after finishing his Late Late Show in LA and was out and about in the capital.

But after riding around the streets of central London he tried to leave his bike outside a pub but the doorman wasn’t having any of it.

James arrived at his destination before mounting the pavement and cheekily leaning the bike against the door.

It didn’t take long for the doorman to notice, who then removed the bike and told James he couldn’t just leave it there.

After his bike was placed against a lamp post, James took it from the doorman and cycled off to place it elsewhere.

James looked happy and carefree despite the incident and was more than happy to do as the doorman suggested.

He listened to music on his mobile and took some selfies with adoring fans while out and about.

He dressed casually in a dark jacket and navy trousers and wore comfortable white trainers.

It comes after James’ LA mansion was sold to the daughter of a Hong Kong private equity billionaire for $17.1 million, it has been revealed – $5million less than what he wanted amid his move back to the UK.

James is handing over the keys to LeeAnn Akouri-Shan, daughter of Weijian Shan, 69.

James first listed his home back in the fall at $22 million, a whopping $12 million more than he purchased it for in 2017 from ‘Modern Family’ co-creator Steve Levitan.

The comedian later lowered the asking price to $18 million and quickly caught the attention of Akouri-Shan, who put in an all-cash offer, according to The Real Deal.

The 8,600-square-foot property is located in the upscale Brentwood neighborhood and has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms and sits on nearly a half-acre lot.

After purchasing the property from Levitan, the comedian and wife Julia Corden – who is an interior designer – made significant renovations.

The redo was lengthy and reportedly incredibly pricey for the pair who are now expected to move back to their native United Kingdom after Corden ended his run hosting the CBS late-night show.

The couple have been married since 2012 and share three children together.

Additionally, the Cordens will have to fork over give up an even larger portion of the profits thanks to Los Angeles’ new mansion tax, which burdens sellers with a 5.5 percent levy on sales larger than $10 million.

Akouri-Shan’s new home has been described as ‘New England traditional’ and features many amenities for a private but lavish lifestyle.

The home is located behind gates and stays secluded thanks to a hedge out front.

Inside, the sprawling 8,600-square-foot residence includes a fireplace-equipped living room, an eat-in kitchen with marble countertops, and a library.

For film buffs, the house also comes with a movie theater that seats 20.
