Kate Middleton was seen showing her broody side as she greeted a baby whilst meeting royal fans outside Windsor Castle on Saturday 10 September.

The cute moment was caught on camera as the Prince and Princess of Wales made an appearance at Windsor following the Queen’s death to chat with well-wishers who had gathered in the area.

Kate, 41, was seen beaming as she spotted a baby wearing a pink baby grow in the crowds, and her husband Prince William, 40, wasted no time in greeting the little one playfully.

The Princess made a point of stopping for a few seconds as she spoke briefly with the baby’s mother before she was seen moving on while holding several bouquets offered by royal fans in condolence.

Kate and William were also joined by the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, as they appeared outside Windsor Castle on Saturday.

The quartet were filmed greeting as many royal fans as they could as they received commiserations and tributes to the Queen from the mass crowd.

This was the first public appearance the foursome made since 2020, before Harry, 37, and Meghan, 41, moved to the US to start a new life after exiting their positions as senior royals.

In between this time, there have been rumours of a rift between the two couples, following the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s accusations of bullying from within the Royal Family.

Kate’s interaction with the sweet baby at Windsor Castle comes after she was seen in June holding a royal fan’s baby.

A video at the time showed the Princess asking fan Marianne Provoost if she could hold her child during an outing to Newmarket Racecourse, Cambridge, as she said: “I love babies”.

The moment was cut short however, after William, who had accompanied Kate, had tapped her on the arm, wording to her: “It’s time to go,” leaving fans amused online.

The new video of Kate comes as the Prince and Princess of Wales have delayed moving to Windsor Castle, after moving house just this month.

The royal couple are expected to move to Windsor Castle following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, now that their titles have changed.

However, sources claim the pair are putting off relocating for now after only recently moving out of Kensington Palace to Adelaide Cottage in Berkshire, with their three children Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
