Kevin Hart addresses why he’s in a wheelchair

Kevin Hart posted a candid video on Instagram in which he revealed he’d landed up in a wheelchair after trying to race former NFL player Stevan Wiley.

The video, which the actor shared with his 178 million followers, was captioned: “44 and sitting my a** down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!!

“What the f*** am I doing???? I blew my s***….I’m done. FML.”

Kevin then went on to detail what had happened to his fans: “Yeah, well… you know it’s going to be bad anytime anyone starts off by saying, ‘Well…’ It’s bad.

“Ladies and gentlemen, the age 40 is real. To all my men, women out there who are 40 years and above, it’s not a game. Respect that age.

“Respect that age or that age will make you respect it. I was just forced to respect it.”

Hollywood star Kevin went on to say: “This is just a public serving announcement as I know people when they see me out and I don’t want you to be alarmed but I’m a wheelchair.

“Why? Because I tried to jump out there and try and do some young stuff.

“I did some young man stuff and I was told to sit my a** down.

“Shout out, Stevan Ridley. I’m going to put this story out there before you do.”

Kevin explained: “Me and Stevan, we got into a little debate. This debate was based off who was faster. Those who know me, know I’m pretty fast.”

Stevan used to play for the Patriots and Kevin described him as a “very good guy”.

The pair then embarked on a “40 yard dash” but it didn’t end so well for Kevin, who admitted: “I blew all my s***.”

He went on to detail his injuries including tearing his lower abdomen and abductors.

Kevin said: “I can’t walk. Sit my a** down. This is 44,” he said, adding: “What am I doing?”

His celebrity friends left their responses in the comments section with Dwayne Johnson The Rock posting: “In tore my adductor off my pelvis during a wrestling match. True story.

“You’ll be fine. You’ll grow a 3rd ball but you’ll be fine. Heal up.”

While Will Smith said: “Getting older is REAL!! Heal Up, Kev!!”

Singer Mario added: “You gotta warm up for about 10 minutes big fella!”
