Lily Allen’s family thought she’d gone missing first time she had sex

Lily Allen talks Dreamland role on This Morning

Lily Allen’s family called the police fearing she’d gone missing after she “slept in” the morning after having sex for the first time.

The singer, 38, lost her virginity as a teenager while on holiday and her lack of appearance the next day led her famous father, Keith Allen, to grow concerned.

Speaking on Alan Carr’s Life’s a Beach podcast, the chat show host asked the singer if she’d ever had a holiday romance.

To which she openly responded: “I lost my virginity to a guy called Fernando in Brazil.

“When I was about 12, no I am joking!”

Lily recalled that at the time she was on a family trip with her dad – an actor – and brother Kevin, a director.

She jokingly admitted that following their holiday rendezvous she “never spoke” to Fernando again.

After the encounter, she explained: “They thought I actually went missing. I went to his hotel room, and I was on holiday with my dad and brother, and obviously didn’t come back to my room.”

The Not Fair hitmaker said that she “slept in the next day” causing her loved ones to worry and even inform the police.

“I woke up and there was police all over the hotel,” she added.

The authorities were called to search the premises and beaches.

“They were literally combing the beach and had T-shirts [asking], ‘Is this what she was wearing?'”

She suggested her sudden disappearance led people to think she had drowned.

After realising that the missing person’s campaign was due to her secret night away, she added: “I didn’t have the heart to say, no, I was just losing my virginity.”

She further quipped: “It was all a bit traumatic, and I didn’t have sex again then for a while.”
