Love Island viewers were left alarmed after seeing a die-hard fan get contestant Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu’s name tattooed on her foot.
Amy Hollingsworth was holidaying in Turkey when she decided to get the extreme inking in a local tattoo studio in support of her favourite Islander.
The avid follower documented her tattoo session on TikTok as she wrote in the caption: "Come with me to get my favourite Love Islander tattooed on me forever,” before heading off to her appointment.
Amy was then seen in the video putting a piece of paper over Ekin-Su’s name, which was stencilled right underneath her ankle, before the tattoo artist began applying the ink.
She was then seen later watching Love Island before she panned the camera to her finished tattoo on the side of her foot which, sure enough, showed the word ‘Ekin-Su’ in big, bold black letters.
Amy put her thumb up as she joked: "Not my type on paper, but they are on my skin.”
Viewers immediately cringed at the fan’s “tattoo goals”, as one person commented: “I'm just speechless, why?", while another simply asked: “Are you okay?”
A third user wrote: "I'd be so uncomfortable if someone tattooed my name on them forever just because I was on TV once."
One person asked if Ekin-Su “had a meaning”, wondering if that was the real reason for the tattoo.
Amy replied by saying the translation of the word actually means "Wheat-water" — though it appeared this had no link to her intentions in getting the ink.
Other viewers praised the dedicated fan for her tattoo, as one user remarked: “Finally someone who loves Ekin-Su even more than I do,” while another said: "Ekin-Su is for life, not just for summer."
All in all, Amy received quite the attention for her new ink, which Ekin-Su would surely be proud of.
The Islander has become quite the fan favourite among viewers this series, following her dramatic outbursts and steamy shenanigans in the villa.
Ekin-Su has also become something of a sensation on TikTok for her acting skills and impressions, and recently amused fans during Saturday’s Unseen Bits episode, after she impersonated Luca Bish while chatting to Gemma Owen.
The star said: “Imagine I’m Luca right now. ‘Gem you alright babe, do you want me to massage them? Shall I massage them babe?'”, to which Gemma insisted: “He hasn’t called me babe once."
