Love Islanders Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu have had something of a turbulent time in the villa, with their on-again-off-again romance.

Although with the pair now firmly back on, it seems fans are hoping they stay together right to the final, with many wanting the duo to win the £50,000.

After the Movie Night challenge, Davide and Ekin-Su’s romance seemed to be on the rocks, but in Monday 18 July night’s episode, Davide pulled her for a chat where they appeared to talk through some of their issues.

“I’m so bored of this,” started Ekin-Su, saying that she wanted a man who wants her, to which Davide responded that yes, he does want her.

The two were then encouraged by their fellow Islanders to kiss, leading to the duo sharing a rather long snog.

When the Love Island Instagram account shared a clip of the pair’s conversation, the comments quickly revealed just how popular the couple are – with some even referring to them as ‘mum and dad.’

“Our mom and dad, never disappoint,” one person shared. While a second added: “Glad mum and dad have made up.”

“My parents are back together,” wrote a third. Others added that they were obsessed with the couple.

While the pair are seemingly happy now, fellow Islander Gemma Owen pointed out that they may end up having the same argument in another three days or so. Which, does seem par for the course with this popular pair.

Following the Movie Night challenge, David and Ekin-Su came to blows after a clip revealed Ekin-Su and Casa Amor guy George, in bed together.

While it’s unclear exactly what went on between the two of them, the next day Ekin-Su could be seen asking George to keep whatever did go down the night before a secret.

After seeing this footage, Davide branded Ekin-Su “fake” and “a liar.”

In the beach hut, he said: “Apparently she [Ekin-Su] had something in Casa Amor with a boy, I can't remember the name, I don't really care about the name.

"The point is not that she had something, the fact is why have you lied again?"

Despite this, Ekin-Su insisted "nothing happened" and the pair are happily coupled up again.

They’ve both had their fair share of other kisses though, with Davide kissing Casa Amor girls Mollie Salmon and Coco Lodge, and snogging Danica Taylor in the main villa, and Ekin-Su having previously left Davide by coupling up with ex-Islander Jay Younger.
