Love Island: Olivia admits her ‘eyes are now open’ after Casa Amor’s Martin delivers blow he doesn’t think Kai is interested in her

Olivia Hawkins admitted her eyes are now open after Casa Amor’s Martin Akinola told her he doesn’t think Kai Fagan is that interested in her on Tuesday’s Love Island.
The ring girl, 27, and PE teacher Kai, 24, had formed an unlikely couple in the villa and upon hearing how their romance was being perceived by newcomer Martin, she has been forced to reevaluate things.
Olivia has already enjoyed a passionate kiss with Maxwell Samuda, but was surprised to hear Kai might not be as into her as she thinks.
Speaking to Martin about her connection with Maxwell, she said: ‘He’s nice, he’s very attractive. As soon as he came in I thought, “Ok, he’s a bit of me”.’
Martin replied: ‘I don’t know Kai, I have no problems against him, but I feel like you’re not even his number one or number two nor three even…’

Olivia asked: ‘You think I’m not even his number three?’
Martin said: ‘Honestly I don’t think so. Even after Tanyel he was with Samie. He coupled up with Samie first, not you.’
Olivia replied: ‘So I’m the fourth choice. it’s interesting maybe if there is someone in the villa that’s his type, will he go for it?
Not holding back, Martin told her: ‘That’s just my personal opinion, I could be wrong. But that’s what I think.’
Olivia continued: ‘That’s so interesting… I’m glad that I’m giving Maxwell the time of the day. You’ve made me open my eyes open a bit.’
Kai has been flirting with Sanam Harrinanan, 24, and even shared a cheeky kiss on Wednesday’s show.
It comes after Olivia admitted that she had been ‘questioning’ things with Kai, after he was left in the bottom three – three times on Tuesday’s show.
She said to Maxwell: ‘I have started to question things to be honest. He’s been in the bottom three three times!

‘I just feel like maybe the public have seen things that I’ve not seen’.
Meanwhile, in the main villa, Kai sat down with Casa Amor girl Sanam to discuss his views on their situation.
Speaking to the newcomer he admitted his concern that he’d ‘not been in any romantic scenarios before Liv’.
But at the same time, he said: ‘If someone’s got a better connection here I’ll be open to it… But I do really like the girl.
‘I’d like to think our feelings are the same’, he said.

Earlier in the episode, Maxwell appeared to take his flirtation to the next level with Olivia.
Finance Student Maxwell, 23, dropped a massive hint he’s interested in getting to know ring girl Olivia after he asked her what her intentions are while staying in Casa Amor.
During a suggestive chat, Maxwell asked Olivia: ‘Do you think you have certain barriers? Things that you’re trying to avoid to remain respectful? Or are you focused on you?
When asked for clarification by Olivia, Maxwell replied: ‘Are there things you’re trying to avoid and things you’re trying not to do because you’re trying to be respectful?
‘Or are you very much just here for yourself?’
Hesitating very slightly, Olivia responded: ‘I’m definitely here for myself.’
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
