Love Island viewers united in praise for Lana Jenkins on Sunday’s episode as she shocked the villa by choosing Casey O’Gorman over Ron Hall in the recoupling.
Lana has been having conflicting feelings between Ron and bombshell Casey and admitted she was ‘scrambled’ between the two of them.
However, Ron has been coupled up with Tanyel for the last two recouplings and other islanders have accused him of leading Lana on after his head was turned by newcomer Samie Elishi.
During the dramatic recoupling, Lana surprised many viewers when she decided to ‘go with her gut’ and picked Casey.
Explaining her reasons, she said: ‘I’ve decided to couple up with this boy because he’s kind, funny and makes me smile.

‘I’ve been fighting between my head and my heart but tonight I’m going with my gut. The boy I’ve decided to couple up with is Casey.’
Viewers quickly took to Twitter to react to the moment, with one writing: ‘Yes Lana wipe that smug look off Ron’s face.’
Another added: ‘Yes Lana! I didn’t think she had it in her,’ while a third said: ‘Yes praise the lord Lana is smart.’
A fourth user added: ‘Lana you have redeemed yourself my friend,’ while a fifth said: ‘Lana choosing Casey, finally Ron got a taste of his own medicine.’
There was more drama for Lana and Ron during Friday’s episode as Samie exposed his secret conversations.
Despite claiming Lana was his priority, Ron continued to chat to the other girls in the villa, prompting Lana to become wary of their relationship.
However, Lana was chosen by Aaron Waters in the latest recoupling and bombshell Casey caught her eye after he arrived in the villa.

Keen to win the affections of Lana back, Ron promised to focus on her and competed with Casey to make her breakfast.
But, as Lana began to open up to the idea of giving Ron a chance on Friday’s episode, Samie suggested he could be hiding his true feelings from Lana.
Lana said: ‘I’m at completely different stages with Casey and Ron, it’s hard to throw that away but then am I being…?’
Samie replied: ‘Lana, he’s a flirt man, he’s a proper flirt,’ but Tanya told her: ‘Lana, no.’
Loved-up: Lana previously spoke to Casey and he told her: ‘I won’t need to f*** up with you to realise what I’ve got with you if that makes you feel any more reassured’

Sensing there was an issue, Lana asked: ‘Why, what are you telling me?’
Speaking of Ron, Samie replied: ‘He’s just muddling up everyone’s heads I think. He’s trying to keep everyone happy.’
Lana asked Samie: ‘Is he still trying to keep options with you?’
Samie responded: ‘He was very clever with what he was saying and how he was saying it.’
She then said Ron had insisted he and Samie had the same spark he’d had with Lana.
Samie added that Ron had said he wanted to get to know her more if things went sour with Lana, insisting: ‘I think he’s as confused as everyone else.’
Viewers were quick to take to Twitter to praise Samie for being honest and exposing Ron as a ‘player’.
