Love Islands Shaq and Tanya take relationship to the next level in first look

Love Island couple Tanya Manhenga and Shaq Muhammad will go from strength to strength in Monday's episode, following the latest recoupling.

It was the ladies turn to choose which guy they’d like to be partnered up with on Sunday night, and Tanya, 22, opted for Shaq, 24, once again, proving the pair only have eyes for each other.

In tonight’s episode, Tanya and Shaq head to the snug following the recoupling to spend some cosy quality time together.

Flattered by her re-coupling speech, Shaq tells Tanya: “You said a lot of stuff that really touched my heart. Honestly, you touched my heart.”

He continues: “Do you know what touched my heart the most out of the whole thing? You saying that you couldn’t do outside life without me.”

Tanya says: “I don’t think I can, you’re full of love and you care about me.” Shaq replies: “I’ve got a whole lot of love to give.”

He then follows up with an important question for Tanya: “We’re basically exclusive?”

Their gear-changing conversation comes after Shaq and Tanya confessed their love for each other last week.

Elsewhere, new couple Tom Clare and Samie Elishi appear to be getting on very well after officially partnering up in the villa.

Bombshell Samie, 22, selected Tom, 23, in the recoupling, after they had grown close in recent days.

Tom was previously linked to the recently departed Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins, who is now coupled up with Kai Fagan.

Contrastingly, Tom makes fun of Samie for her recoupling speech in tonight’s episode.

Jokingly mimicking her accent, Tom says: “‘I want to couple up with this geezer because he’s alright to look at and we get on really well and I love where it’s going and I want to snog him…’”

“I didn’t say that!” Samie laughs in response.

Talk then turns to cooling off in the pool, as Samie admits: “I can’t swim.”

Tom suggests: “I’ll give you a swimming lesson.” He adds: “I never thought I’d be teaching the girl I like a swimming lesson…”

Feeling more confident, Samie takes a dip as Tom supportively tells her: “Nice, see, you can swim.”

Do Tom and Samie have what it takes to make it as a couple in the villa? Is Tanya ready to take the next official step with Shaq?

Tune in to Love Island tonight at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX to find out.
