Wes Nelson has hit out at ex-girlfriend Megan Barton-Hanson after she labelled the singer as “vanilla”.
The former flames met on the fourth series of Love Island and dated for six months after leaving the villa.
Some time on from their break-up, 28 year old Megan has addressed what her sex life was like with Nice To Meet Ya hitmaker Wes, 24, and labelled it as being "vanilla”.
“I don’t remember Wes really liking sex toys,” she said.
“In fact he was pretty vanilla in the bedroom, he was only young though bless him, he’s got a lot to learn.”
Megan went on to tell The Sun: “I love playing with sex toys, especially the rabbits. Women masturbating is nothing to be ashamed of, I feel like it’s such a taboo.”
Wes has since responded to Megan’s comments and quipped that “everyone loves vanilla”.
Speaking on a Facebook Live with the Daily Star, he said: “I don't know, everyone loves vanilla though, right? She said some crazy things, so I just take everything… It doesn't bother me, it really doesn't.”
He added: “I’m vanilla as hell.”
It’s believed that Wes is currently single after splitting from his girlfriend of two years, Lucciana Beynon, last summer.
A source said at the time of their rumoured split: “Wes has a hugely busy schedule and so does Lucciana.
“While they did care for each other it became difficult for them to keep that connection so they split.”
Before dating Lucciana, Wes was with season five Love Islander Arabella Chi.
Meanwhile, Megan recently sent fans into a frenzy after ex Demi Sims shared a TikTok video of them together.
The pair met on Celebs Go Dating in 2019, and ended up sparking up a romance with one another.
In a video shared to Demi’s TikTok page, she and Megan posed for a clip as Demi wrote: “Convincing your ex to get back with you”.
Along with a video was a Stitch of Demi miming: “It would be so awesome, it would be so cool.”
The clip has sent their fans wild, with dozens calling for them to rekindle their relationship.
“Omg so much beauty in one couple please get back together,” said one.
Another person penned: “I need this to happen,” as a third added: “YES when I tell you YES this needs to happen”.
Megan was most recently linked to TOWIE’s James Lock who she had an on-and-off relationship with for several months.
They split in March 2022, but were spotted looking cosy together in Spain in June.
