Noah Beck Reveals His ‘QB Bad Boy & Me’ Movie Keeps Getting Pushed Back

Did you know Noah Beck is going to be starring in a new movie?!

The 22-year-old TikTok star was cast as the male lead in the rom-com The QB Bad Boy and Me back in March 2022, an adaptation of Tay Marley‘s Wattpad novel of the same name.

Since the announcement, the movie has faced multiple delays, including a likely delay due to the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes that are currently taking place.

In a recent interview, Noah, who is also an executive producer on the project, revealed he was actually supposed to finally start filming soon, but that’s probably not going to happen.

Find out what Noah said inside…

While on the Zach Sang Show, Noah was asked about the movie and getting into acting.

“I just told my team, would it be possible, it seems I’m pretty good on this little screen, can I get on a big screen? Like, that’d be cool. I think that’s something that I would love to try, and they were like, ‘Yeah, let’s get you an acting agent. Let’s get you some auditions. Let’s get you all this,’” Noah told Zach Sang.

“So we kind of just started doing that, and I’ve been in acting classes now for like two years,” he added.

Back in 2021, Noah shared that he had an interest in acting. He even appeared in an episode of Nickelodeon’s Side Hustle.

Noah was then asked about his experience on set, and he noted that he has yet to film the movie.

“I haven’t filmed it yet. I’m supposed to start filming in like a month, less than a month,” he said at the time the interview was recorded. “I know the script like the back of my hand now because it’s been pushed. We were supposed to start filming this time last year. So it’s been pushed due to, you know, all things Hollywood.”

“But now, there’s the writer’s strike going on, so it could be pushed again. That being said, I’m ready for it whenever,” he said. “As long as you do the preparation, it’s just like, you wait for your call.”
