The shocking footage that sees the 26-year-old social media star repeatedly punching and kicking her boyfriend surfaces shortly after she’s arrested and charged with murder.
AceShowbiz -More details about Courtney Clenney a.k.a. Courtney Tailor‘s alleged physical assault that might have led to her boyfriend’s passing have emerged. In a leaked surveillance video, the OnlyFans model was caught attacking Christian “Toby” Obumseli months before she allegedly stabbed him to death.
The shocking footage dated February 21, two months before she allegedly killed him in their Miami apartment, saw the 26-year-old social media influencer repeatedly punching and kicking her boyfriend. She pounded the touch screen before slapping him and pulling his hair as he desperately tried to fend off her blows.
The horrific video was released by prosecutors who dumped a mound of evidence they had found against Courtney, who allegedly stabbed Toby to death at their luxury apartment in the One Paraiso building in Edgewater, Miami, on April 3. It included allegations the couple, who had been together two years, had broken up multiple times between January and the start of April.
Of the fatal incident, police said they received a frantic call from Courtney at about 5 P.M. on April 3. She reportedly told authorities she and Toby were fighting when he suddenly grabbed her by the throat, prompting her to stab him in self-defense. Police arrived at the scene shortly after and found the man with a single stab wound to his chest. He was immediately transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Despite the cops finding her covered in Toby’s blood, she was not arrested because she was rushed to a mental institution. When she was taken to the police department for questioning, she reportedly threatened to kill herself. Police said that the threat led to an evaluation, causing her to be “Baker Acted.”
However, Toby’s relatives scoffed at Courtney’s allegations of self-defense and called for her arrest. Courtney was arrested on Wednesday, August 10 while she was at a rehabilitation center for substance abuse and post-traumatic stress disorder. Despite being arrested in Hawaii, she will be extradited to Miami, Florida, where she will face trial for the crime. She has been charged with second-degree murder with a deadly weapon.
Courtney’s attorney, Frank Prieto, said he never saw her arrest coming. “I’m completely shocked, especially since we were cooperating with the investigation and offered to voluntarily surrender her if she were charged,” the lawyer stated. “We look forward to clearing her name in court.”
