Peter Andre’s OK! Column – ‘Bennifer’s bickering proves they are normal’

During the Grammy Awards 2023, many fans couldn't help but how "bored" Ben Affleck seemed throughout the ceremony as he attended the event with wife Jennifer Lopez.

But after fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the couple having heated discussions on camera, our columnist Peter Andre has told us he thinks highly of the newly wedded pair – saying it proved "how close" Ben, 50, and Jennifer, 53, are as husband and wife.

"I loved all the coverage of Ben Affleck's facial expression at the Grammys!" the 49 year old began to say.

"You just know he was thinking, "What am I doing here?!" I thought the footage of JLo telling him off just proved how close they are and what a normal couple they are. It was classic bickering."

One wrote on Twitter: "For God's sake, Ben Affleck–it's Stevie f-in' Wonder!! Loosen up, dude. #BenAffleck #JLo," while another said: "Why do Ben Affleck and JLo look like they had a fight the entire way to the Grammys."

Peter went on to share his thoughts on Harry Styles' victorious night, saying people need to "give him a break" after many criticised him for winning his third Grammy.

"Ben aside, I thought it was so unfair that people speculated that Adele walked out when Harry Styles won – something she denied. And I also thought it was unfair that people were up in arms about him winning," he said.

"This is a kid who has fulfilled his ultimate dream. He's gone from auditioning for a reality show to being a global music star.

"Give him a break! It's such a great achievement and he comes across as a really nice guy."

The As It Was hitmaker looked overjoyed when he was announced as Best Album winner after beating his fellow nominees – ABBA, Adele, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, Brandi Carlile, Coldplay, Kendrick Lamar, Lizzo, and Mary J Blige.

"There's no such thing as best in music," Harry, 29, said while accepting the award.

"I don't think any of us sit in studios thinking about what is going to get us one of these. This is so, so kind. This doesn't happen to people like me very often. This is so, so nice. Thank you very, very much."

He added: "This album from start to finish has been the greatest experience of my life. Thank you so much."

Following his win, Harry's mum Anne Twist and One Direction bandmates Niall Horan and Liam Payne congratulated him.

"You've always been our superstar @harrystyles," Anne wrote on Instagram.

Liam penned: "Wow… this image is really something to wake up to and when you write music like you do Harry you deserve every millisecond of that moment looking down smiling at the trophy you’ve earned. God bless you brother congratulations."
