Pierce Brosnan shared a loved-up picture with his spouse Shaye Smith as he wished her a Happy Birthday on Instagram yesterday.

The 69-year-old actor was all smiles for the camera as his long-term wife wrapped her arms around him.

As part of their cosy display, she also rested her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

In view of his 1.7 million followers, he wrote: “Happy Birthday my darling @KeelyShayeBrosnan. I love you dearly. So many years of love, life, work and play. Onwards we go!”

The post comes after the James Bond star hit out at a troll who offered his wife a weight loss service on Facebook last month.

Defending Keely, he wrote: “I strongly love every curve of her body. She is the most beautiful woman in my eyes. And also because she had our five children.

“In the past, I truly loved her for her person, not only for her beauty, and now I’m loving her even more that she is my children’s mother.

“And I am very proud of her, and I always seek to be worthy of her love,” he added.
