Pregnant Amy Hart shares glimpse at hospital bag contents as due date draws near

As her due date draws closer, mum-to-be Amy Hart has been preparing her hospital bag ready for the arrival of her first child with boyfriend Sam Rason.

The former Love Island contestant has been sharing regular updates with her one million followers, with Amy purchasing nappies, wipes and formula ready for her bundle of joy.

But not all her fans have agreed with the reality star’s purchases, with 30 year old Amy inundated with different opinions, as she explained in her latest Instagram story.

Organised Amy told fans that she has been adding baby items to her weekly shop in preparation, despite her little one not being due until early March.

“So, as you know, every week I do my online shopping, I’m adding a few bits from my list….” she told fans, showing off her most recent purchases.

Lovingly arranging the items on her kitchen counter, the former air hostess talked through her purchases.

As well as regular nappies she’d already purchased, Amy bought a small pack of special newborn nappies as well as disposable pants for herself to pack in her hospital bag.

Amy had also bought premade bottles of formula and an additional larger tub, explaining that she’d bought them in case she couldn’t breastfeed.

The reality star has been inundated with conflicting advice and spoke about this in a follow-up video.

“Lots of messages already in regards to that last story, but they’re all mainly the same so it’s easier just answer them on here…” she explained, talking through the criticism of her purchases.

Exasperated, she said: “…people are saying why you are buying size 0 nappies, you are not [going to] need them…when I bought size 1 last week everyone was like why are you buying size 1, you need size 0….so I’m going to take some size 0, some size 1 and we’ll see how big this baby is….”

Amy had been reluctant to stockpile items for her little one, but has vowed to pass unused items along to her pregnant friends in a bid to reduce waste.

She’s also been concerned about a possible allergic reaction to nappies, after being told a horror story by a fan who bought 500 nappies only for them to cause rashes.

“…I’m not buying any more nappies now…just because I want to wait….until the baby is here and try things out", she added.

The Love Island contestant has also been criticised for buying formula, despite being keen to breastfeed.

She quipped: “…if I do end up using formula, I’ll probably just come off Instagram for like a year…I don’t know, because already people are already messaging me like why aren’t you breast feeding. Breastfeeding is easy, you just need to try.”

She ended the story by saying that she was grateful for the advice and that she had “listened” to her fans, adding several items to her shopping list.

With a smile, she said: “It’s all a bit of trial and error….but I will tell you if I use something I don’t like…but it’s all okay it’s all gravy baby…”.
