Prince Harry shows off necklace ‘broken by William’ during row – with charms from Meghan

Prince Harry has shown off the necklace that Prince William allegedly ripped from his neck in a physical tussle in 2019.

The youngest son of the late Princess Diana and King Charles appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Tuesday night in the US, for another interview about his bombshell book, Spare.

After after a quick comedy sketch with Tom Hanks on the show, the Duke of Sussex sat down to discuss many of the claims made in his book.

During the interview, the 38 year old Royal was asked which necklace his brother William reportedly broke during an alleged physical confrontation in 2019.

Harry said that it was, in fact, the necklace he was wearing, which also featured three symbolic charms.

“There is a lot of talk about the physical fight that the two of you had, where he pushed you down in the kitchen and broke the dog bowl, when you fell on it,” the show’s host asked.

“It says it broke your necklace. What necklace was it that he broke?”

“This one. Which is now fixed,” Harry said as he held up the necklace.

The charms included his kids’ heartbeats and a tiger's eye crystal which is often used to balance the soul, alleviate anxiety, restore confidence and banish negativity.

Harry explained: “It's got my kids' heartbeats, which my wife gave me.

“And then a friend of mine in Botswana made this for me, which has got tiger's eye in the middle.”

Harry alleges that the confrontation happened when Prince William visited his Nottingham Cottage home and called Meghan Markle "difficult, "rude", and "abrasive.”

William, who also allegedly recoiled when Meghan tried to hug him, was reportedly confused as to why his younger brother was acting like the heir and couldn’t understand why he was not content being the spare.

After insults began to fly, which prompted William to say he was simply trying to help, Harry responded: "Are you serious? Help me? Sorry – is that what you call this? Helping me?”

He continued: "It all happened so fast. So very fast. He grabbed me by the collar, ripping my necklace, and he knocked me to the floor. I landed on the dog’s bowl, which cracked under my back, the pieces cutting into me.

"I lay there for a moment, dazed, then got to my feet and told him to get out.”

Despite the incendiary claims, family and relationship therapist Tina Wilson believes that there could be hope on the horizon for the brothers.

Speaking exclusively to OK! she said: "The connection between siblings, especially brothers, cannot be compared with any other type of relationship," she says.

"Family is forever and whether you like them or loathe them, you will always be connected.

"With such a glue-like foundation, it’s normal to see behaviours exacerbated, with an understanding that no matter what happens, the relationship will continue and change as time goes on."
