Ronan Keating has gushed over his son Jack as the Love Island star turns 24.
Taking to Instagram to share series of family photos with Jack, 47 year old Ronan penned: “The boys all grown up. Happy birthday to my buddy my best friend my Son. Love ya big man.
"The road is rising before ya the wind is at your back and the sun is in your face. We love you. The man you are. Always be you. In the words of Jack the lad ‘Nice’ ‘Fair’.”
Jack replied to his dad’s sweet post with a string of heart emojis.
Meanwhile, Jack’s step-mum Storm also took his birthday as an opportunity to share some kind words about the 24 year old.
“Biggest of happiest birthdays to the best guy ever @jackkeating11 you’re the best big brother in the world and thank you for being the best step-son too,” she wrote.
“We all love ya to bits and want you to feel extra special today because you deserve to know just how great we think you are. And proud we are too. You’re the biggest sweetheart Jacko and in my eyes, that’s one of the greatest assets anyone can have. Roll on the celebrations (although slightly terrified about what all the lads are going to do to the house).”
Storm concluded the post with “loads of love”.
His sister Missy shared a heartfelt post as well, where she spoke of how proud she is of her brother.
“Happy birthday my bro,” her caption began. “Watching you become the man you are has been incredible. I am so unbelievably proud of you, especially in these last months…
"Breaks my heart that I'm a million miles away! Wishing we could raise a glass today and celebrate you. Love you always, See ya soon.”
His family’s gushing tributes come shortly after Jack welcomed his first child.
Last week, the reality TV star announced on social media that he’d become a dad to a little girl as he shared a sweet black and white snap of him holding his newborn daughter. He branded his tot as his “little princess” – but is yet to share her name.
Many fans of the Keating family were left floored by his little one’s arrival as they had no idea that Jack was expecting with someone, while others quipped that they felt “old” as Ronan became a grandad.
Commenting on Jack’s photo, one person commented: "Congrats mate! The fact your dad is a grandad makes me feel extremely old!"
Responding to Ronan, who also commented on his son's Instagram post writing "little cutie," one person wrote: "I can't believe you're a grampa now!"
A third said: "Congratulations on becoming a granddad. She is going to be one spoilt princess and have the most amazing life as she has an amazing family."
