OK, Sam Asghari, we see what you’re doing here!

The Hot Seat actor did a questionnaire for Interview Magazine on Monday, and one of his answers really had us raising an eyebrow. To be fair, the question itself was playing with fire — it was:

“What’s the first letter of the name of the person who hurt you the most?”

If they’re asking everyone that, fine, it’s a questionnaire, but… Considering they were interrogating a man who famously is going through a divorce with Britney Spears, you have to wonder if they were hoping for a particular answer. And you know what? They got it!

Sam answered easily:

“B.”

Wow! WHAT?! Really??

However, he quickly pulled back from the Britney hinting, elaborating:

“My high school football coach really did kick my ass.”

Mm-hmm. Sure that’s what you meant. Who remembers their high school coaches’ first names, anyway??
