IAC: Ant jokes hugs from Sam are ‘too much for me’
Sam Thompson’s girlfriend Zara McDermott has blasted the suggestion his I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! campmates are “struggling” with his personality.
Zara, who has been dating the 30-year-old for four years, has been supporting her boyfriend back home and answered a number of Q&A questions via Instagram about him going into the Australian jungle.
One fan asked her about how she’s feeling about people “struggling with Sam’s personality in the jungle”.
She replied: “I don’t think anyone is particularly struggling with his personality at all!
“I think all of us are different and there’s so many different personalities in there, but no one has said anything unkind to him or about him at all?”

She added: “Sam knows he’s got a lot of energy and can be full on to people sometimes but I think that’s why so many people warm to him!
“It seems to me that everyone has warmed to him in camp! I think it would be a very different camp without him there, he has created more fun and excitement for everyone.”
Sam is best known for being in the reality TV show Made in Chelsea, but also hosts a podcast alongside TOWIE star Pete Wicks.
He has also been very honest about his ADHD and autism diagnosis.

Sam decided to get tested and bravely opened up about his journey in a Channel 4 documentary, Is This ADHD?.
He was told that he had been living with the condition his whole life and underwent therapy after his diagnosis.
Zara recently appeared in the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing but was the fifth celebrity to be eliminated from the show.
