Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald has shared her heartbreak over a recent miscarriage.
The star, who has been on a fertility journey with husband Romain Bonnet, told her followers she had a septic miscarriage, which she had to have surgery for, but is going to keep trying for a baby.
An emotional Mary, 42, told fans: "We did get pregnant and unfortunately that didn't work out.
"The reason why I'm speaking out now, is because I do realise how common this is and how many people go through this and it is not easy.
"It has been rough to say the least, but there's still hope. I wanted to just share my journey and I'm going to continue to share it because we're going to keep trying. I'm going to continue to share it and we're going to have very good news very soon."
Captioning the post, Mary, who is mum to son Austin, 25, from her previous marriage, said she wanted to share her experience to let others know "they are not alone".
The Selling Sunset star emotionally penned: "It’s not always sunshine and butterflies, and that is ok. I wanted to share this in the hopes of letting others know they are not alone. I promised I would be truthful and keep you guys updated.
"I have been asked some questions, and finally found it within me to address this. We won’t be giving up… and if this message speaks to you in any way or you are feeling down, helpless, alone… please know we are in this together. Hang in there…"
Mary was inundated with well wishes and kind comments from fans and her fellow celeb pals, with Selling Sunset co-star Brett Oppenheim writing: "We will always be here to support you and Romain, through anything. Love you."
Amanza Smith said: "Most beautiful human inside and out. Love you both so much and will continue to hold you up through all your pain. Yes you will have good news very soon," and Maya Vander added: "Sending love!! sorry you had to experience it".
Mary's husband Romain vowed to support her "every step of the way" and sweetly commented: "it’s just the beginning of our journey my princess and i promise I will always be here to support you in every step of the way," with two red heart emojis.
Mary, who met French model Romain, 29, while he was looking for a house after relocating to LA five years ago, has been open about her and Romain's fertility journey.
She revealed last year they'd began the costly process of freezing their embryos as a precaution, but the pair were left devastated when the $25,000 attempt failed.
