As speculation continues to swirl surrounding Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner’s marriage – a resurfaced interview from 2022 could give fans the answer to what has possibly gone wrong between the pair.
It comes after the actress, 27, and the boyband star, 34, are said to be preparing to file for a divorce just four years after tying the knot in 2019.
Sophie hinted at some tensions between her and Joe during an interview with Elle last year.
During the sit-down chat, the Game of Thrones star admitted she was desperate to move back to the U.K. for her “mental health,” but despite this, she claimed that her hubby was reluctant to make the move.
The actress, who was born in Northampton and grew up near Leamington Spa, revealed she was desperate to be back with her family and for their children to have a similar education to what she had.

“I miss England so much,” she told the magazine, before noting: “The people, the attitude, everything. I’m slowly dragging my husband back.”
Although she did say she “really loves living in America,” being away from her family has taken a toll on her mentally.
She explained: “I have to be around my friends and my family. And also for my daughter – I would love her to get the education and school life that I was so lucky to have.”
“England would ideally be the final destination,” she continued, noting that “[Joe] might take quite a bit of convincing!”

Sophie made her acting debut at just 15 as Sansa Stark in HBO’s hit fantasy drama Game Of Thrones, but sadly struggled to come to terms with the pressures of living her life in the spotlight at such a young age and dealing with the “comments” from trolls, she told Elle.
The award-winning actress also revealed she suffered from an “eating disorder for a long time” and had to have a live-in therapist to ensure she “wasn’t doing anything unhealthy with my eating habits”.
As of last year, she still goes to therapy “every week” but confessed she still has days where she becomes stressed and anxious and turns to her family for support.
Joe and Sophie are yet to comment on the current divorce rumors.
