Stacey Solomon’s ‘nervous’ to leave kids with Joe Swash after week apart

Stacey Solomon shares ‘humbling’ treadmill experience

Stacey Solomon said Joe Swash didn’t feel confident taking their three children to visit his mum in Spain – so she stayed home with their youngest daughter, Belle.

The TV presenter is a mother to sons Zachary, 15, and Leighton, 11, who she has from previous relationships as well as son Rex, four, Rose, 22 months, and baby Belle, five months, who she shares with Joe.

The 33-year-old couldn’t contain her excitement as she would be reunited with her babies, Rex and Rose today, after spending a week apart.

“Good afternoon. I am just about to pick up Joe and the kids from the airport. I haven’t said anything because, basically, Joe’s mum lives in Spain for the summer,” Stacey told her 5.7 million followers.

“So he wanted to take the kids out to see her but he didn’t feel confident taking all three. He took Rose and Rex with him for a week to go and see his mum and I kept Belle with me – she’s basically been coming everywhere with me for the last week.”

She went on: “I haven’t seen Rex and Rose for a whole week and I didn’t say anything while they’re away because it’s scary. I just think it’s scary if people know it’s just me and Belle at home on our own together.

“So I didn’t say anything but today is the day I finally get to go and pick them up and I missed them so blooming much. I literally cannot wait to squeeze them. This is the longest I’ve been away from them, ever.

“I’m going to get my babies back.”

She captioned the post: “Joe took Rex and Rose to go spend time with his mum and I haven’t seen them in a whole week. Me and Joe are both too nervous for him to take all three. So we teamed up!

“I didn’t say anything because it scares me people knowing I’m home alone with Belle. Mum’s helped on the weekend and I got some gym time in and Belle’s come to work with me all week.”
