Actress Stephanie Davis says she’s more loved up than ever and has already planned her wedding to boyfriend Joe McKalroy.

The 30-year-old, who arrives on screen in Coronation Street this week as newcomer Courtney Vance, says she's ready to marry Joe, 26, and shared some of her plans in an exclusive chat with OK!.

“I’d definitely like to get married and have more children, Joe gets pressure all the time from people,” she laughs. “From everyone all over Instagram…. everyone wants to see that for me.”

There’s only one thing missing at the moment for the happy couple – the ring.

“He got me a promise ring to say the next ring I get is going to be an engagement ring,” she says. “We’re just waiting for the right time, it’s definitely going to happen.

“I know it’ll be perfect but he says he’s going to do it when I least expect it! He’s always joking and getting down on one knee. I’d say yes wherever he asked me!”

Stephanie, who is also mum to six-year-old son Caben, has been dating Joe for two years and she says she “knows” he’s The One.

“You know when you’re younger and your mum says about a boy, ‘You’ll know when you know’? Now I know what she meant – I just know!” she beams. “Joe’s amazing. I’m so blessed to have him in my life. He’s an amazing person, an amazing dad, and he’s got the most amazing heart."

Speaking about how she envisages her Big Day when it comes around, Stephanie reveals the couple have already “planned the wedding and everything we want”.

She adds: “We know the themes and we’ve picked all the songs! It’s just getting round to doing it, and when he pops the question!”

Stephanie became a household name playing Sinead O’Connor in the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, before leaving the cast for good in 2020.

She began filming scenes for Coronation Street in May and is set to make her debut this week.

She’s playing Courtney Vance, the wife of Dev Alahan’s business associate Darren Vance. There’s expected to be fireworks when she sets her sights on Dev’s son Aadi, and two begin an affair.

“I absolutely love Courtney, there are so many layers to her,” she says. “She’s this big bravado person, but deep down, all she wants is to be loved. You can tell she didn’t have a good upbringing and she’s never truly been loved.

“She’s also loads of fun and causes loads of trouble. I’ve just been reading some scripts and laughing my head off, but I’d love to see some deeper, dark and gritty stuff with her as well.”
