Kerry Katona opens up about her dyslexia
Kerry Katona has claimed that Emmerdale star Adam Thomas is the only Strictly Come Dancing contestant she’s heard of in this year’s line-up.
“I’m not that impressed with the line-up – mainly because I’m not on it!” she feistily retorted in her column for OK! magazine. “The only person I know is Adam Thomas.”
The Atomic Kitten singer-turned-TV personality speculated on whether her decision to sell saucy photos on OnlyFans may have hindered her chances of getting onto the BBC show.
However, she has no hard feelings about the good fortune of Adam, a man she has described as a “lovely bloke” after revealing they’ve met “a few times”.
Others on the show include the late Jade Goody’s 20-year-old son Bobby Brazier, who previously bagged a role in EastEnders, plus 50-year-old Nigel Harman as another EastEnders face, who has also been in Downton Abbey.

Hopefuls also include Love Islander Zara McDermott, 26, Bad Education star Layton Williams, 28 and Coronation Street actress Ellie Leach, 22.
Though Kerry says she can’t place them, she’d still have been keen to compete this year.
“I would love to go on the show myself – you lose so much weight when you’re on that!” she lamented.
“I don’t know if having an OnlyFans account has held me back from being offered it.

“Perhaps the BBC don’t agree with it, but you’ve got to move with the time,” the former singer added.
She’s no stranger to primetime TV shows, having already appeared in I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, Dancing on Ice in 2011, and Celebrity Big Brother the same year.
More recent appearances have also included Celebs Go Dating in 2019, a role in Celebs On The Farm in 2021, which involved filming an adventure at a remote ranch in Arizona, and most recently The Big Celebrity Detox.
However, she won’t be returning to screens in Strictly, which she now describes as “the only reality show I haven’t done”.
Meanwhile, Kerry has made it clear she’s on a weight loss mission, after boasting in before and after shots posted this month that she’s shed three stone and isn’t finished yet.
Showing her defined tummy in her before shot, taken while wearing a bikini, and then her drastically slimmed down figure in a sexy black catsuit after shedding the weight, she told her 814,000 Instagram followers: “Still got a long way to go!”
Kerry has confirmed that she can now fit comfortably into the size 12 jeans she once wore, and has credited the fitness and nutrition company M-Fit for helping on her dieting journey.
