THREE different stars lined up to present this week's This Morning

ITV reveals the THREE latest stars lined up take over Holly Willoughby’s role and present this week’s This Morning as Alison Hammond takes a step back

Viewers have seen a huge amount of hosts take turns to present This Morning since Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield left the ITV breakfast show.

Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary, Rochelle Humes, Rylan Clarke, Josie Gibson, Craig Doyle, Cat Deeley and even Emma Willis have been holding the fort while ITV tries to find permanent replacements.

But as Alison is taking a step back from presenting to appear in a Christmas pantomime, channel bosses have found three new, but old, contenders for this week.

The Saturdays’ Mollie King, TV presenter Lisa Snowdon and Loose Women’s Christine Lampard are all lined up to divvy out next weeks shows.

While Lisa is a familiar face on the show already, the star hasn’t co-presented the two and a half hour programme since 2018.

She will be co-hosting the show on Thursday and Friday, while Mollie, who last fronted the show in 2019 with former bandmate Rochelle, will host Tuesday and Wednesday.

Viewers are used to seeing Christine panel host the ladies over on Loose Women – but will be appearing on Monday’s show with Dermot.

Recently Emma Willis co-hosted the show with Rylan – and it went very smoothly among viewers.

Viewers were even left begging producers to make Emma and Rylan the full-time replacements for Holly and Phillip.

The former Big Brother presenter, 47, and X Factor star, 35, fronted the show last week to the delight of excited viewers, who lauded their on-screen chemistry.

Twitter users penned: ‘What a fabulous week with @Rylan and @EmmaWillis. I’ve not enjoyed the programme this much for ages!!!… please just announce @EmmaWillis and @Rylan as the main presenters! There’s nobody better’.

In October, Holly quit the show after 14 years – months after her long-time co-star and good friend Phillip left in the wake of the shocking scandal surrounding his ‘ill-advised but not illegal’ affair with a younger colleague on the show.

This Morning fans were thrilled on Monday as Emma, who was replacing last week’s host Cat, and Rylan reunited to present the ITV show.

Emma previously hosted Big Brother during its previous incarnation on Channel 5, while Rylan, 35, fronted sister show Bit On The Side, and the duo have hosted This Morning together in the past.

On Friday, viewers soon flooded Twitter to beg to make the partnership a permanent fixture as they reached out to the producers on the microblogging site.

Users penned: ‘What a fabulous week with @Rylan and @EmmaWillis. I’ve not enjoyed the programme this much for ages!!! Please keep them!!!!… Yes please I can’t live without you and Emma presenting @thismorning…

‘@Rylan &@EmmaWillis you should 100% be the full time presenters. You have a natural chemistry and that’s what’s needed rather than a forced one. @thismorning you know it makes sense and will bring you back to the top again!…

‘Please just announce @EmmaWillis and @Rylan as the main presenters! There’s nobody better… Omg please please @thismorning can you’s give the lovely @Rylan and the beautiful @EmmaWillis the job hosting the This morning permanently…

‘@Rylan and @EmmaWillis are the best combination I’ve seen on @thismorning. Give them the gig… Love Emma Willis as your presenter-she can be serious, kind, funny and lighthearted and you actually feel like she cares about people…

‘Absolutely loved @EmmaWillis & @Rylan this week!!! It’s one of the best duos… the best duo ever with @Rylan and @EmmaWillis they have to be permanent… Dear @thismorning producers please can we keep @EmmaWillis…

Emma replaced Cat Deeley, who hosted This Morning alongside Rylan earlier this month

‘Who thinks that @thismorning should give @Rylan and @EmmaWillis permanent job on the show #ThisMorning @ITV I think you should give them permanent job.’

However, the duo being permanent seems unlikely as Josie Gibson, who is currently on I’m A Celeb, has just 50/1 odds of replacing Holly.

The favourite to replace Holly is Loose Women’s Christine Lampard.

Holly left the show last month ‘for the sake of her family’ after discovering she was the target of a foiled kidnap and murder plot and has since not been replaced permanently.
