More details have emerged regarding Tom Brady and Irina Shayk’s split!

On Saturday, TMZ reported that the whirlwind couple had officially called it quits after less than four months together. At the time, there weren’t many specifics, but we had already noticed how they’ve been spending lots of time apart, with Tom in Miami and the supermodel in New York City. And it sounds like that distance definitely played a role.

On Sunday, a source close to the exes told People:

“Irina was very attracted to Tom. She liked dating him. It excited her. They had fun traveling to see each other. In the end, it kind of just fizzled. They both keep having obligations, and it was getting more difficult to be in the same city at the same time.”

Yeah, distance will definitely do it… But don’t worry, there’s apparently no hard feelings! The insider shared, “Irina has nothing but great things to say about Tom,” while a second added “there’s no drama.” And for good measure, a third source assured Us Weekly on Monday:

“There’s no ill will towards each other.”

Well that’s good to hear! At one point they really did seem to care for each other a lot, so we’re glad to see them remaining cordial.
