Una Healy confirms shes single after David Haye and Sian Osborne throuple split

Una Healy has confirmed she's single after it was reported that she split from her throuple with boxer David Haye and Siân Osbourne.

The Saturdays singer had been reportedly involved in a three-way relationship with boxer David, 42, and model Sian, 30, since the start of the year. But with reports that she called time on their romance, Una removed all traces of David from her social media – and he and Sian had since jetted off on holiday to Costa Rica without her.

Now, Una, 41, has spoken for the first time about her relationship status following their reported "split".

"I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job," she told the Irish Mirror.

"I am a single parent, I don't like the term single mother as it has negative connotations. You can't do it all by yourself, there is no shame in asking for help, be that from childcare, family or friends."

Rumours of the throuple started at the beginning of the year when David, who was previously married to Natasha Haye, celebrated the New Year with a trip to Marrakesh, Morocco, with Sian and Una.

David then appeared to confirm he was in a relationship with both Una and Siân as he gushed over them in a Valentine’s Day post.

He wrote on Instagram: “Happy Valentine’s Day to the beautiful Queens in my life, making my world a better place to live in!”

David – who has been in a relationship with Siân since 2020 – previously addressed claims the three of them were romantically involved by saying in January: “I like to keep my private life private. I let people in through my social media a little bit, but what I do behind closed doors is between me and the girls involved.”

Shortly after the New Year, Una also posted a picture of the three of them eating out together, with David holding her hand as well as Siân’s at the dinner table.

Una wrote in a post, which is now deleted: “I’ve started 2023 in a comfortable place, feeling genuinely happy and at peace. Here’s to this year being ours x.”

But in a fresh start, the star is now focusing on herself and her children, Aoife, 10, and Tadhg, eight, who she shares with rugby player ex husband Ben Foden, 37.

And a source told OK! that after receiving much negativity around her involvement with David and Siân, Una decided it wasn’t worth the hassle, despite it being fun for her in the beginning.

“Una didn’t think the throuple would get so much attention. She was getting a lot of negative comments about it, and she just didn’t think it was worth it in the end,” they said. “It went from something fun into a big media frenzy and everyone seemed to be talking about it.”

They added: "Una is a private person and decided to take a step back. It all got a bit complicated. She enjoyed herself, but her kids are her main priority and that’s her focus now."

It’s understandably been a tricky time for Una after separating from Ben, who she was married to for six years, and the source added that she “is an independent single woman who can do what she wants”.

Una and Ben’s relationship came to an end when she reportedly discovered text messages that exposed his infidelity. Ben went on to marry Jackie Belanoff-Smith just two weeks after they started dating.

"Una went through a tough time after her split from Ben, but she’s doing what’s best for her family and walking away. David was like the cat who got the cream and is a bit gutted about the whole thing," they said.

OK! previously approached Una's representatives for comment.
