Victoria Beckham has shared details of her vow renewal with husband David in 2006 for the first time, after using the romantic ceremony as inspiration for her new fragrance.
The fashion designer, 49, first married David, 48, in July 1999 in a star-studded ceremony in Ireland, with the pair then secretly renewing their vows in a low-key ceremony in 2006.
Victoria shared an unseen photograph from their second nuptials to mark the release of her fragrance Suite 302, which she says represents her and David's "love affair with Paris".
The mum-of-four can be seen wearing a short white Roberto Cavalli dress in the snap, which was taken in front of an archway covered with white flowers.
"This fragrance is a tribute to mine and David's love affair with Paris. Every time I smell Suite 302 it takes me back," Victoria wrote. "In 2006 we renewed our vows, I wore a Roberto Cavalli dress, and we had a whirlwind 24 hours in Paris, staying in Suite 302 x VB".
She then shared more details about the vow renewal in a promotional video for Suite 302, explaining how David planned the entire ceremony and Paris minimoon without her knowing a thing about it.
"When we lived in Spain we dropped the kids off at school one morning, I was in a tracksuit, yes I was in a tracksuit. David said to me 'I am going to take you somewhere for the day', so we drive to the airport. We get on a private plane," Victoria said.
'Halfway through the flight David goes into the bathroom and he comes out in a tuxedo, looking so handsome and he says 'there's something for you to put on in the bathroom'," she added.
She then entered the bathroom to find the white Roberto Cavalli dress. Victoria explained: "I go into the bathroom and there was a white dress hanging so I put the dress on I put some makeup on and I come out and the plane lands and it lands in London.
"I get off the plane and there is the chauffeur driven car that drove us to our wedding all those years ago when we got married in Luttrellstown Castle in Ireland."
Ex-footballer David, who shares sons Brooklyn, 24, Romeo, 20, and Cruz, 18, as well as daughter Harper, 11, with Victoria, had included details from their 1999 wedding day to make the vow renewal even more special.
"The same car, the same driver, we drive to our house that we used to have in North London and we had a little chapel on the grounds. We go into the chapel and he's covered the whole chapel with flowers, my parents were there, his parents were there and our sisters and my brother. And we had the vicar who married us all those years ago remarry us.
"We renewed our wedding vows and I genuinely had no idea. It was the most romantic thing that he has ever done," Victoria gushed.
The surprises didn't stop there, as David also organised a 24-hour minimoon in Paris for the couple to celebrate their second wedding.
"And then we went back to the airport, we got back on the plane, I've got no idea where we are going again, and we land in Paris," explained Victoria.
She added: "We had a mini honey moon that was literally 24 hours long in Paris. We stayed at the Ritz, suite 302. I mean what an amazing thing to do. I mean that is some crazy James Bond s**t that went down on the plane let me tell you."
