EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale look set to be as drama-packed as ever this week, with returns, revenge plots and blackmail galore.

Over in Albert Square, viewers are eagerly anticipating the return of Ryan Malloy after he learns of his daughter Lily’s pregnancy, leaving ex Stacey Slater on edge as she fears he may have an ulterior motive.

In Weatherfield, Stephen Reid kickstarts his plan to drug boss Carla Connor with LSD, after blackmailing his client Rufus with the help of a passing sex worker.

And in the Dales, Cain kickstarts his revenge after being banned from seeing his son Kyle, remaining unaware that his brother Caleb is involved.

So, MailOnline takes a look at the biggest storylines that are set grip viewers in soapland this week…

EASTENDERS

Ryan Malloy is set to drop a huge bombshell upon his return to Walford in next week’s EastEnders, throwing his pregnant daughter Lily Slater into turmoil.

With half term in full swing, Lily (Lillia Turner) spends some quality time with her aunt Whitney Dean (Shona McGarty) on her stall, but later Stacey is taken aback when Lily starts asking questions about her father, Ryan.

A furious Stacey (Lacey Turner) then has it out with Whitney, upset that she’s influenced Lily’s questioning, with a frustrated Whitney then promising to let Stacey tell him when she’s ready. 

Later, Whitney becomes emotional when she learns her test results for her baby are delayed for a further two weeks and after some persuasion from Zack (James Farrar), she decides to confide in her big brother Ryan.

But whilst on the phone to him, her emotions get the better of her she lets slip that Lily is pregnant. 

Consumed with guilt, Whitney heads over to the Slater household to tell Stacey she told Ryan (Neil McDermott) that his daughter was pregnant.

But, before she has time to reveal all, Stacey receives an unsettling phone call from Kat, who reveals that her van has been broken in to.

Things then go from bad to worse when Ryan rocks up on the Square. Later, as a stunned Stacey hears him out in the Café, a sheepish Lily arrives to see her dad.

The youngster enjoys the quality time with her dad, with Ryan then offering to help them financially. 

During his visit to Walford, Ryan also takes it upon himself to visit Ricky Jnr’s (Frankie Day) parents Jack (Scott Maslan) and Sam (Kim Medcalf), with some harsh words being exchanged between the three.

Later, Sam, Ricky Jnr and Ryan arrive to support Lily at her first scan, much to the anger of Stacey. And her anger only looks set to build as Ryan then drops a huge bombshell just before the scan.

And despite Lily and Ricky’s boy at seeing their baby, things are tense as Ryan and Stacey are kicked out after exchanging some harsh words.

Later, feeling like a burden to her mother and worried about her family’s money woes, Lily makes a huge decision.

Elsewhere, Denise Fox is set to throw her marriage to Jack Branning into turmoil as she grows closer to Ravi Gulati.

Intent on coming through for his family, upcoming scenes will see Jack (Scott Maslen) arrange a family lunch at Walford East. 

However, things get off to an awkward start after his ex Sam Mitchell (Kim Metcalf) arrives after being invited by Ricky.

Things to begin to thaw though as the family begin to enjoy each other’s company.

But the happy moment is soon ruined when a furious Jack learns that Nugget (Juhaim Rasul Choudhury) is responsible for Ricky and Lily being bullied at school.

Issues: With things already under strain since the revelation that Jacks’ 12-year-old son Ricky got Lily Slater pregnant, tings go from bad to worse for the couple when they row over the kids

Tense: Soon, a blazing row ensues between an angry Jack and Nugget’s defensive father Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) after he learned the teen bullied Ricky and Lily

Back at No.27, the row continues between Denise (Diane Parish) and Jack, which results in her storming out and heading to Walford East to apologise to Ravi.

Soon, sparks begin to fly and the pair become very close.

The following day, Denise and Jack’s relationship woes worsen when the police officer fails to remember that it’s Valentine’s Day. 

Keen to save the day after seeing her dad’s mishap, Jack’s daughter Amy (Ellie Dadd) arranges a romantic evening for the couple.

Intense: Back at No.27, the row continues between Denise (Diane Parish) and Jack, which results in her storming out and heading to Walford East to apologise to Ravi

Meanwhile at at No.27, Denise is interrupted by Ravi as she gets ready for the date, with Ravi expressing his growing desire following the events from the previous night.

And while Denise tries her hardest tp fight against her lust for Ravi, she’s soon left devastated when she overhears Jack telling Sam that it was was Amy who was responsible for arranging the date.

Also this week, Linda Carter will receive shocking news about the future of The Queen Vic as she struggles through her first Valentine’s Day alone.

The pub landlady had originally planned to sell her beloved boozer after Mick’s devastating drowning, but has since vowed to stay at the pub in his memory.

In the upcoming scenes, Linda (Kellie Bright) struggles on her first Valentine’s Day without Mick (Danny Dyer), after he was supposedly lost at sea while attempting to rescue her.

His heroic act came after Mick learned the truth about wife Janine’s framing of Linda and confessed his love for the latter, before dramatically exiting the show in a nail-biting finale which saw him lost at sea.

Sharon (Letitia Dean) helps a grateful Linda prepare for The Vic’s Valentine’s Day party in attempt to distract herself from the anniversary of Denny’s death, three years after the teen drowned in Thames boat disaster.

After a bad night, Linda confides in Sharon that she’s had a call from the lawyer – Janine (Charlie Brookes) still wants to sell Mick’s half of The Vic. 

Janine was arrested on Boxing Day after attempting to flee the Square, when it was revealed that she was responsible for Linda’s car crash.

Difficult: In the upcoming scenes, the pub landlady will learn that Janine Butcher still wants to sell Mick’s half of the pub, leaving her future at the tavern in jeopard

Dramatic: Linda was devastated when Mick tragically drowned at sea while attempting to rescue her on Christmas Day

The pair head to the café to hatch a plan, but it soon becomes apparent that Linda may have to sell up.

Wanting to help her friend, Sharon later makes Linda an offer she can’t refuse…

As the week goes on, Sharon moves forward with her plans to buy Mick’s half of The Vic to preserve Linda’s future there.

Eve overhears the conversations and puts forward Suki as a potential buyer in an attempt to win back her trust… but will this backfire?

CORONATION STREET

Serial killer Stephen Reid will resort to drastic new measures to secure his future on the Street, and will secretly begin drugging his boss Carla Connor.

As the week begins, he is desperate to seal his design deal with fashion industry big player Rufus and is pleased when Carla instructs him to set everything up and in return he’ll receive 15% commission and a permanent contract. 

Meanwhile, Carla (Alison King) tells Sarah (Tina O’Brien) that she can continue working on her designs in return for an apology. 

Meeting up with Rufus at his hotel, the businessman makes it clear he’s not interested in the deal, with Stephen (Todd Boyce) begging him to reconsider.

In danger? He has already claimed the lives of two people and in upcoming scenes, he targets the Underworld boss after she promotes Sarah Platt over him

Rufus goes on to hand Stephen a vial of LSD before retreating into the bathroom to snort a line of coke.

However, disaster strikes when Rufus suddenly collapses clutching his chest, and as an ambulance wheels him out, Carla then calls Stephen asking if the deal is done. 

After reassuring Carla the deal is in the bag, Stephen then begins practicing forging Rufus’ signature – but he’s abruptly interrupted when a ex worker barges in demanding her money – giving Stephen an idea.

Later at the factory, Stephen is incensed when Carla promotes his niece Sarah to Head of Design, while he bags the role of Office Manager.

Seeking revenge on his boss, he then slips into her office and pours LSD from Rufus’ briefcase into her coffee. 

As Carla heads out to the factory floor, the drug begins to take hold as she’s left woozy and discombobulated.

The evil character later strikes again in The Rovers as he slips more LSD into her red wine. 

When her partner Peter (Chris Gascoyne) then arrives at the pub, he realises something is wrong, with the taxi driver worried Carla’s psychosis is returning as she begins to act paranoid.

Wicked: After Carla promotes Sarah over him, Stephen seeks revenge on his boss, going on to slip into her office and pour LSD from Rufus’ briefcase into her coffee

And after Carla is escorted out of the pub by Peter, Stephen steps up his campaign against her as he sneaks into her office to delete a meeting with Dick Haversham from her diary, while also muddling up her paperwork. 

Later, after checking her diary, a confused Carla tells Peter that she’s convinced she had a meeting with Dick Havisham.

Back in the factory, Stephen hands her a mug of tea laced with LSD, before going on to persuade her that she did indeed cancel the meeting with Dick. 

When Dick calls and asks where Carla is, the flustered businesswoman rushes out to meet him.

Spotting the Underworld van, Carla jumps in and speeds off down the street. 

But disaster strikes when Carla ploughs into Paul on the motorbike, leaving him sprawled out on the ground in pain.

Will he be OK? And will Carla realise that Stephen is behind her downfall?

And in upcoming scenes, Max is set to learn his fate after being warned he could face 15 years behind bars after pleading guilty to Encouragement of Terrorism.

His adoptive dad David Platt is left worried sick and confides in mum Gail Platt (Helen Worth) over his sentencing the next day.

While Gary Windass (Mikey North) has a go at Maria Connor (Samia Longchambon) for defending David, insisting none of it was his fault.

Meanwhile, on the day of his sentencing, David (Jack P. Shepherd) and Max (Paddy Bever) attend a meeting with the teen’s barrister Kim, tells them that Alya has failed to submit a personal victim statement and that could help Max’s case.

Later, David, Spider, Gary and Daryan watch as Max is led into court, with the youngster then handed a six month sentence by the judge.  

Outside the courtroom, a relieved David hugs Max and assures him he’ll visit as often as he can.

Punishment: And in upcoming scenes, Max is set to learn his fate after being warned he could face 15 years behind bars after pleading guilty to Encouragement of Terrorism 

However, he’s left gutted when Max declares that he doesn’t want any visits. 

Things are set to get worse for the teen when in the secure training centre, a group of lads make it clear to him that they intend to make his life hell. 

Just how will Max cope with life behind bars?

After struggling with being kept away for weeks, Cain Dingle is set to seek revenge after being banned from seeing his son Kyle in the Dales next week.

As part of Kyle’s bail conditions following his confession to killing Al Chapman, the mechanic is not allowed contact with the youngster seeing as he is a key witness in the trial. 

And after Kyle’s mum Amy Wyatt and Will Taylor (who was looking after Kyle) warn him to stay away, his estranged half-brother Caleb Milligan is forced to step in – sparking more feud drama for the newcomer. 

With Cain (Jeff Hordley) already anxious ahead of the trial, he’s put out when Amy (Natalie Jamieson) – who recently vowed to fight for sole custody – sticks to the bail conditions and keeps their son away.

Later at The Hide, Amy and Kyle (Huey Quinn) join Will (Dean Andrews) and his grandson Lucas Taylor (Noah Ryan Aspinall) – with the two lads getting on like a house on fire as they play a game.

When Amy has to rush off to sign important papers for the solicitor, Will agrees to take Kyle and Lucas to the playground.

However, the happy playdate descends into drama when Cain spots them, resulting in a tense confrontation as Will adheres to Amy’s order to keep Cain away from Kyle.

She soon returns to see the altercation and is quick to remind her one-time fling that he’s not allowed to speak with their son.

Revenge: Watching from afar, Cain relishes in Will’s despair, who appears out of his depth trying to control the horse

Tense: Caleb and Sam Dingle (James Hooten) then suddenly arrive with a horse box to try and deal with the situation and amid the action, Caleb makes his disdain for Will very clear

Later, a furious Amy is brooding as Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) returns home and hears about the earlier drama and is soon shocked when Amy reveals her plan.

Will later goes on to apologise to Amy over the dispute with Cain but the pair are soon left shocked when an escaped Apollo, the new stud horse, charges down Main Street.

As Noah (Jack Downham) arrives at the café with Valentine’s flowers for Amelia (Daisy Campbell), he’s put out to see Samson (Sam Hall) there.

Amid the cost of living crisis and the freezing winter weather, the family find it difficult to be able to afford to heat their humble home.

And as Belle (Eden Taylor Draper) and Vinny (Bradley Johnson) embark on the risky move of syphoning oil from Pollard’s (Chris Chittell) oil tank, they are very nearly caught.

But after pulling off the job, the two soon toast to a job well done.

Despite being initially reluctant to the the pair’s dodgy business, Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) soon softens her stance after the family’s oil tank is refilled.

But will the Dingles strike again when their oil runs dry once more?
