Where the Osbournes are now – from health battles to hidden pregnancy

The Osbourne family are among the most iconic celebrity families in the world.

Former X Factor judge Sharon and Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy are parents to Kelly and Jack. THey also have a daughter called Aimee, who tends to keep out of the public eye.

In 2002 the Osbourne family, minus Aimee, starred on the MTV reality show, The Osbournes, which lasted for three years and gave a look inside their chaotic life in Hollywood.

This year, the eccentric family has made numerous headlines including Ozzy facing his ongoing Parkison's diagnosis, the family restarting their comedy podcast, Kelly's decision to hide her pregnancy from the world, and Jack saying "I do" to his second wife.

Here's a look at what the Osbournes are up to in 2023…

Ozzy Osbourne

Rock legend Ozzy, whose real name is John Michael, made headlines in 2020 when he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease.

Earlier this year, he devastated fans when he cancelled his world tour, saying that he was “not physically capable” of the travel involved.

Ozzy had a fall at home in 2019 which aggravated injuries from a near-fatal quad bike crash in 2003, has stopped his No More Tours 2 from going ahead later this year in Europe and the UK.

This week, Ozzy gave a health update, revealing that he had finally undergone his last surgery to repair his neck damage.

Ozzy shared that he is now on the road to recovery after a neck injury that has caused him issues for over 20 years.

When asked how he felt two days following his final surgery, Ozzy told Piers Morgan Uncensored: "I can't believe I've come to the end of it. The main thing is over now, I'm done with the surgery.

"But it's been five years of absolute hell for me and my family. The family has been so supportive of me. I couldn't have done it without them. It's been a really bad scene. I have Parkinson's, but I never think about it."

Sharon Osbourne

Since Ozzy's second fall, Sharon has admitted that their family has "changed dramatically" as she now spends much more time with her husband and caring for him during his difficult condition. Despite their lives changing, Sharon says that she feels that she and her husband are in a "good place" right now.

Sharon, along with her children and husband are reunited The Osbourne Podcast this month after five years away from our screens.

The twenty-episode series recorded at Ozzy and Sharon's home touches on a little bit of everything including their shared fascination with the paranormal. In addition to many family episodes, the famous family members all get a chance to have their own individual episodes as well to talk about whatever interests them.

When Sharon appeared on TalkTV's Piers Morgan Uncensored on Wednesday night alongside her family to plug the podcast, it was obvious she had lost a lot of weight.

Addressing her visible weight loss Sharon candidly confessed: "I didn't want to go this thin." In June, the mum of three admitted she had lost two stone after using controversial weight loss drug Ozempic to achieve her new figure.

Speaking to E! News of her weight struggles, the former X Factor judge shared: "In my life, the heaviest I was 230 pounds and I'm now under a hundred. And I want to maintain at about 105 because I'm too skinny. But I'm trying to have a healthy balance."

Sharon, who has since stopped using the drug told Piers: "It's just time to stop, I didn't actually want to go this thin but it just happened.

"I'll probably put it all on again soon!"

Kelly Osborne

The same year that the show began, Kelly released an album titled Shut Up, with the lead song in the album being a cover of Madonna’s “Papa Don’t Preach”.

She was known for her unique style from The Osbournes and in 2004 launched a fashion line called Stiletto Killers – a rock-inspired line of T-shirts, hoodies, and streetwear designed by her.

She showed off her fashionable side further by becoming a fashion correspondent with the late Joan Rivers, on the series, Fashion Police.

In 2004 Kelly entered rehab for an addiction to painkillers and has been honest about her struggle since.

Kelly is currently in a relationship with Slipknot DJ Sid Wilson and announced their relationship on Instagram earlier this year.

Beside a picture of the pair kissing on Valentine’s Day she wrote: “After 23 years of friendship I can’t believe where we have ended up! You are my best friend, my soulmate and I am so deeply in love with you Sidney George Wilson.”

She previously told Extra that she relapsed after nearly four years of sobriety during the COVID pandemic.

She said: “I don’t know why my nervous breakdown happened at the end of the lockdown, I made it all the way through, everything was great and my life was perfect. I’m that girl that when everything is going great I need to f**k it up a little and make everything a little bit worse in my life.

“I am an addict and had thought that I had enough time under my belt and I could drink like a normal person, and it turns out I cannot and I will never be normal. I don’t know why I even tried it. It’s not for me and it took me a matter of days and I was like done, not doing this.”

In 2018, Kelly described herself as suffering from misophonia, which is the term used to describe a strong emotional response to certain types of sounds.

In 2021 she revealed that she’d had gastric sleeve surgery and lost 85 pounds.

Speaking to US Weekly, she said: "I got sober. I replaced drugs and alcohol with food, my body metabolized differently. Once I got sober and I gained weight uncontrollably, it was insane.”

In November 2022, Kelly welcomed her first child, a boy named Sidney, with boyfriend DJ Sid.

The former reality television star revealed that she had "hidden" her pregnancy, in fear of being "fat shamed" by the public.

Jack Osbourne

Following Jack Osbourne's time on the reality television show he pursued a career in acting landing roles in Dawson's Creek, That 70's Show, Fright Club, Haunted Highway, and more.

Like his sister, he also battled drug and alcohol addiction in his youth, but has been sober now for 17 years.

Jack married actress Lisa Stelly after just four months of dating in 2012 and later welcomed two daughters.

Three months after the birth of their second child the famous couple announced that they were separating in a joint statement. The pair shared with their fans that they attempted to do "everything" to make their relationship work but they still remain co-parents and good friends.

Since then, Jack has found love again with his new partner Aree Gearhart. The couple went public with their relationship in November 2019.

On Thursday, September 21, Jack announced that the pair had wed.

Sharing a picture of himself alongside Aree on their wedding day, he wrote: "Something really cool happened. I married the most amazing woman I’ve ever met. All in."

The couple were pictured in a lavender field, with Jack wearing a lilac-coloured suit and grey shirt, while his bride was in a beautiful but simple white gown complete with veil and clutching a rustic-looking bouquet that included ferns and grasses.

The 37 year old star, who was previously wed to Lisa Stelly from 2012 to 2019 revealed the news on Instagram on Thursday, 21 September. The pair welcomed a daughter together, called Maple, 14 months ago.

Aimee Osbourne

Although Amiee chooses to live a low-key life, she followed in her father's footsteps as she went on to pursue a singing career.

Around 2010, Amiee began recording and releasing music under the project name ARO (her initials). She joined musicians Billy Mohler, Rene Arsenault, and Brendan Buckey to create a band.

The band played several live shows together and released a handful of songs. The band released their latest single in four years titled Shared Something With the Night in July of 2020.

Speaking to the The Sunday Times, Sharon admitted that her three children don't really stay in touch.

"Aimee doesn’t like the life we lead. It’s not her," Sharon explained, as she recalled her eldest daughter's decision to opt out of being involved in the family's early reality TV show.

"The kids don’t get on, and I’m not going to b******t and say they do," the mum-of-three added.

She also explained that Aimee hated the family's decision to film their TV show so much that she ended up moving out of the family home at the tender age of 16.

Sharon recalled that she couldn't stand the filming and "it drove her insane".

"She felt too that she didn't want to grow up on camera. She hated the idea. It was appalling to her," the TV star added.
