They met on Love Island’s fifth series in the summer of 2019.

And Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury have gone from strength to strength ever since, with the couple even welcoming a baby daughter, Bambi, last month.

Now Tommy is gearing up to get in the ring with Jake Paul for their much-anticipated boxing match.

The boxer and the YouTuber will face off in Saudi Arabia this weekend with Tommy vowing to make his rival feel every ounce of the pain he experienced throughout camp.

Tommy has twice withdrawn from bouts against Jake, first in December 2021 due to illness and injury, and then in August last year when their Madison Square Garden clash was axed with Tommy unable to gain entry to the United States.

While Molly-Mae has secured her place as the most successful Love Island contestant with 7.2 million followers on Instagram and a load of brand deals.

MailOnline looks at how and why the pair have become the ultimate Love Island couple.

RELATIONSHIP

The PrettyLittleThing creative director and the boxer became official just weeks after their first villa date and moved in together in Manchester a month after landing back in the UK in 2019.

In March 2022, the smitten couple also purchased a £4million six-bedroom home in affluent Cheshire. It boasts a luxurious contemporary design, 5,000 sq ft of land, and a tranquil garden.

Molly revealed the move by launching a new social media profile on Instagram called Molly Maison, where she plans to document more of her personal life and gives an inside glimpse into their dream home.

Molly snapped up the Cheshire residence before it went on the market and she now has the likes of England footballers Marcus Rashford, 24, and Jordan Pickford, 28, as neighbours.

A source told MailOnline: ‘Molly fell in love with the property as soon as she saw it. It has everything she had been looking for including a luxurious contemporary design, stylish interiors, and a landscape garden.

‘Molly also loved the bohemian influences, which is reminiscent of her travels to Ibiza and Tulum in Mexico. She purchased the house straight from the developer so wasted no time in snapping up the property after being so persistent with her search for the perfect home.’

Molly proudly announced the beginning of her ‘new chapter’ to her 6.2million Instagram followers, saying: ‘A three-year search for our first home, which some of you have followed, has finally come to an end.

‘I know a lot of you won’t have been expecting me to do a home account as I have become a lot more private about what I post of our home life. However, having a home account is something that I have always dreamed of doing.’

Molly’s new abode, which has recently been refurbished, has a grand entrance complete with double front doors, marble flooring, and an elegant staircase.

The house has six spacious bedrooms, multiple bathrooms, the main boasting his and hers sinks, and a large living space, where Molly and Tommy will no doubt relax of an evening while watching their favourite Harry Potter films.

CAREER SUCCESS

Already an influencer before joining the show, Molly-Mae has amassed 7.2 million Instagram followers and landed a six-figure deal when she signed with fast fashion chain PLT in 2019 to become their creative director.

Molly-Mae has made £1.2million in profits via her company MMH Group Holdings and £848,000 from her self-tanning business Filter.

She added to her cash pot with her memoir released back in June 2022 – Becoming Molly-Mae – which sold at a cost of £20 and bulked up her fortune by £2million during the pandemic.

The star is also a brand ambassador for Beauty Works.

Known as the richest islander to exit the Love Island villa, Molly-Mae already has a net worth of £4.5million at 23.

Tommy, the younger brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, is a boxer himself.

He has an unbeaten boxing record and is said to have signed a six-figure deal to become the face of boohooMAN following his stint in the villa.

He is worth a reported £2.4million.

BECOMING PARENTS

Molly-Mae and Tommy welcomed their baby daughter Bambi Fury last month, making them parents for the first time.

The former Love Island star’s announced her birth in mid January, before going on to reveal they’d named their girl Bambi – which was met with a mixed response.

In a new video shared to her YouTube last week, Molly-Mae responded to the reaction the name received.

She remarked: ‘I was brought back down to earth very quickly of how nasty this world can be.’

She also told how she was initially apprehensive about revealing the name, and was left stunned by the feedback before being forced to switch off Instagram comments.

Despite the negativity, the star gushed how much she loved the moniker, revealing it was ‘beautiful’ and ‘unique’ – with the influencer having loved the name for years.

She explained: ‘The name reveal was a hard day for me. I switched Instagram comments off on that post. I was brought back down to earth very quickly of how nasty this world can be.

‘Because we’d literally known that our first baby girl was going to be called Bambi, we had gotten so used to the idea that that was going to be her name and to us it wasn’t really that unusual anymore.’

THE FUTURE

Molly-Mae could bank a whopping £2million A YEAR and become the ‘ultimate mumfluencer’, it has been reported.

It comes as research from Buzz Bingo suggests their child could accumulate an estimated net worth of £7million in the future.

If Molly-Mae plays her cards right and strategically picks the right baby-related collaborations she could be set to increase her net worth even more.

Branding and culture expert Nick Ede told The Sun: ‘Her daughter’s name Bambi is brilliant and can be used from a brand point of view.

‘It’s fun and unique and also has a place in everyone’s childhood memories from the Disney film.’

Molly-Mae is already the Creative Director for fast fashion brand PrettyLittleThing but could expand her fashion deals into designing baby clothes.

She landed a six-figure deal when she signed with fast fashion chain PLT in 2019 to become their top dog.

But baby clothes can also be a lucrative market with stars like Billie Faiers, Ferne McCann and Stacey Solomon jumping on similar opportunities.

Nick told the publication: ‘I can see Molly-Mae jumping on this bandwagon and appealing to her millions of fans by creating a baby-wear line.’

She could also follow in the footsteps of other reality stars with a TV show following her as she settles into mum life.

Sam and Billie Faiers: The Mummy Diaries and Ferne McCann First Time Mum have huge viewing figures for ITV and a Molly-Mae spin off show could rake in more cash.

Another market Molly-Mae could now tap into could be the podcast market.

Lots of couples such as Made In Chelsea’s Oliver Proudlock and his wife Emma produce popular podcasts documenting their time as parents and Molly-Mae could do the same.

Happy Mum, Happy Baby by Giovanna Fletcher and Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe’s Parenting Hell are among other successful examples.

Molly-Mae could tap into a more unique market than her competitors by being a younger mumfluencer.

In a crowded market with the likes of Millie Mackintosh, Rochelle Humes, Binky Felstead and Lucy Mecklenburgh Molly-Mae has an edge being only 23.

She could well engage a younger market of mothers with sponsored posts and deals.

THE BIG FIGHT

Tommy is currently in Saudi Arabia ahead of his fight with YouTuber Jake Paul.

Jake and Tommy have been on a collision course for a number of years, and after a fight between the pair was cancelled twice, they are finally due to meet in the ring on Sunday.

Tommy will be the first recognised boxer that Jake has faced in his career to date, but Jake’s trainer BJ Flores does not appear concerned and is extremely confident that his man will come out on top.

‘Tommy’s got some really good attributes. He’s got hand speed and he’s been around the boxing ring for a long time, but I feel like he’s in with just a better athlete,’ Flores told Sky Sports.

‘Jake punches harder, he’s smarter, has a higher boxing IQ and I feel like he does a lot of things that will give Tommy a lot of problems.’

‘We’re [stopping] this guy… inside three rounds,’ Flores predicted.

Tommy’s older brother Tyson is the current WBC heavyweight champion, and has claimed that his younger sibling should stay in Saudi Arabia if he can’t beat Paul.

The younger Fury has denied that he is feeling any added pressure in light of his brother’s comments, but Flores is not convinced that he will remain calm as the fight draws nearer.

‘Tyson is a very smart boxing guy, he knows boxing very well and for him to say that, I feel like it’s put a lot of pressure on Tommy,’ Flores continued.

‘He’s never fought in front of the type of crowds that Jake has multiple times. He’s never headlined in front of 20,000 people. He’s never been the main event on a pay-per-view card or had a main spotlight fight.’

‘For the majority of this camp, I was making sacrifices, and everyone knows what they are,’ Tommy told Sportsmail. ‘But at the end of the day, it’s been amazing.

‘Molly’s an absolute gem. She went above and beyond to make sure my training camp stays a training camp, and that I have no stress, and that’s exactly what it’s been.

‘But I’ve made a lot of sacrifices, without going into detail. Those sacrifices will come out on the night, and Jake Paul will feel every single one of them.’

‘I’m ready to go,’ he continued. ‘There’s no more training I could possibly do. I’ve left no stone unturned, from the sparring to the road works, strength and conditioning, diet – everything’s been on point. I’m just ready to go out there, perform and show everyone this is a one-horse race.’

Tommy, who is 8-0 as a professional boxer, has repeatedly insisted Sunday’s fight will not go the distance, assuring he will knock the American out and even agreeing he will walk away from the sport if he loses.
