The Lighthouse: Willem Dafoe stars in suspenseful trailer
Willem Dafoe and Giada Colagrande made a jaw-dropping appearance in Morocco late last week as they attended the Marrakech Film Festival opening night, strutting the red carpet together in a sweet display.
The 68-year-old cut a suave figure in a tailored tuxedo, with satin finishings and a matching bow tie glinting in the lights of the cameras along the red carpet.
His film director Beau opted for a waist-cinching look as she showed off her figure in a tight strapless white gown.
The dress hugged her curves and showed off the tattoos dotted across her arms as she lovingly curled them around her husband, who she wed in 2005, and finished off the look with a statement necklace featuring a large pendant.
While the Hollywood star is no stranger to the festival circuit, this marks one of the first film festivals he has been able to take part in since the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike and was tasked with a very important role to make his appearance that much more special.
At the opening ceremony, Willem introduced his longtime pal and collaborator Mads Mikkelsen as this year’s career achievement honoree for the festival.
He praised the Indiana Jones star for his “humility and generosity” and recalled a touching memory of sharing the camera with Mads in 2018, just for a single day, for the Vincent Van Gogh biopic At Eternity’s Gate and the pair shared a sweet embrace on stage.
Later during the festival, Willem also took part in a masterclass, sharing insights and tips from his four decades in the Hollywood industry and fans seemingly couldn’t get enough.
