Asda shoppers are rushing to buy a garden staple that's scanning for £17 instead of £34 | The Sun

IT'S a garden item that will elevate your summer entertaining.

So it's little wonder that savvy shoppers are rushing to their local Asda to try and grab one now that the price has been slashed by half.

The item in question is a pizza oven, which comes with its own pizza paddle, and has been reduced from £34 to just £17.

Suzanne took to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group on Facebook to share her epic buy – posting a picture of the boxed oven alongside her receipt.

"Asda , pizza oven half price at £17," she wrote.

People were quick to comment on the bargain, with one tagging their friend and writing: "I could see this in your garden!"

"Almost bought it but then realised it just sits on top of a bbq, so needs a bbq also."

As another said: "Just remember you need a bbq to use it & preferably a hot gas one."
