A WOMAN who swapped Tesco to do her weekly food shop in M&S was left seriously impressed with how much she got for her money.

Mum-of-one Beth Marsden shared the food haul on TikTok and revealed that the quality of the products from M&S were so much better too.

In the video posted to her account, @bethmarsden_x, she said: "Just got back from going food shopping, and I wouldn't normally go to M&S but it was just close by.

"and do you know what?

"I actually feel like I've got quite a lot for a really good price."

The mum revealed at the end of the video that she bagged a weeks worth of food for just £36.20.

Beth added that she even thought the shop was cheaper than going to Aldi or Tesco.

"I think I probably got a lot of this cheaper than what I would if I went to Tesco or Aldi," she explained, "We do tend to shop at Tesco."

The mum then showed off everything she got from M&S, the first included a pasta meal deal which included a red onion and cheese Pantofola, prawn and garlic Mezzaluna and tomato and mascarpone sauce.

She also bagged a loaf of white bread, a packet of ham, two salmon fillets, a bag of carrot, mushrooms and sausages.

Beth also picked up bananas, and a stir fry meal deal including noodles, a garlic and ginger sauce, a vegetable mix and prawns.

But she wasn't done, she also grabbed a bag of salad, chopped tomatoes, minced beef, kidney beans, and milk.

The mum added: "I actually feel like I got a decent amount there."

She added that she planned to make the pasta meal deal for dinner, the stir fry kit, a toad in the hole using the sausages and a cottage pie and chilli using the minced beef.

"That will literally last us the week, with the other little bits that we've got in the fridge and stuff.

"Pretty impressed with M&S there," she said.

The video has since gone viral with over 60k views and over 1,500 likes.

People quickly took to the comments section of the video to share their thoughts.

One person wrote: "Marks & Spencer's food is so underrated lol love their stuff."

Beth replied: "It's the best isn't it! Deffo tastes the best I think too."

Another commented: "That's a lot cheaper than I thought it would be."
