A WOMAN has revealed that she gave her dull garden the ultimate makeover on a budget.
Alongside her husband, 27-year-old Jessica Thibault explained that she turned her rundown space into a stunning oasis.
With no experience, the pair relied on YouTube clips to advise them and even used scrap pallets to make their own sofa.
Posting on social media, Jessica shared a clip showing the before and after transformation of her garden, with the clip captioned ‘Home sweet home.’
At the start of the clip, we saw Jessica’s back garden prior to its transformation – it was very dull and bare and was in desperate need of some TLC.

At the end of the clip, the savvy DIY enthusiast proudly showed off her finished space, which had been completely transformed and given a totally new lease of life.
Jessica later explained: “It cost roughly $2k [£1,550] all in but it lasts up to 20 years and is no maintenance.
“Much cheaper doing it on your own!
“We had no clue what we were doing but we absolutely love it so definitely recommend just going for it!”
Jessica’s video, which was posted on TikTok under the username @jessicalthibault, has clearly impressed many, as it has quickly amassed a staggering 313,700 views.
Social media users were left stunned at Jessica’s garden transformation and many were eager to complement her DIY job in the comments.
One person said: “‘Oh we had no experience’, then boom an oasis” to which Jessica replied “HAHAHA we seriously didn’t believe it or not. We just looked up YouTube videos and hoped for the best and luckily it turned out how we wanted it.”
Another added: “Omg I love this.”
