A FASHIONISTA has defied critics who argue her clothing choice is unsuitable for a night out.
She proudly donned the striking yellow top despite people having told her it looked like lingerie.
Ellie Millar (@elliemillar96) has garnered over 1.6 million followers on TikTok, where she routinely shares a glimpse into quirky moments in her life.
She took to the social media platform to vent her frustration after receiving unsolicited opinions about her sense of style.
“Me in 2023 wearing a corset on a night out,” read the text over the video.
She posed confidently in a body-sculpting strapless yellow corset teamed with gray pants.
Ellie opted to keep her makeup subtle while wearing her hair in a relaxed style swept to the side.
“Woman from the 1600s ‘you’re supposed to wear the corset UNDER your dress’,” the text continued.
Ellie changed into a modest gray sweatshirt and pulled her hair into a bun as she imitated a woman struggling to look at her scantily clad outfit.
She held up a cardigan as she continued to mock people who said she should cover up.

The video switched to Ellie proudly smiling as she pulled up her fashionable corset and continued to flaunt her figure.
“Thanks,” she said as if embracing the derogatory term as a compliment.
Ellie captioned the video with crying smiley faces and quickly racked up over 570,000 views.
Thousands of people liked the 13-second clip and took to the comment section gushing over her looks.
One top commenter desperately asked where the corset was from as they wanted to join Ellie in embracing underwear as an outerwear trend.
