AN EXERCISE enthusiast was left feeling mortified after realizing why people kept staring at her in the gym.

Sam Perry (@sam.b.perry) sat on the floor hugging her knees as she took a mirror selfie to share with her over 742,000 TikTok followers.

The Australian model frequently posts workouts, candid life updates, and fun activities with her friends.

She took to the social media platform to reveal the embarrassment she suffered at the gym.

“I finally realized why people stare at me at the gym,” read the text over the video.

Sam looked almost naked as she sat at an angle with her arms held up covering the straps of her sports bra.

The color of her shorts blended into the dark flooring which also added to the nude illusion.

Onlookers could’ve been fooled into thinking that she was wearing just a cap and trainers as she rested in the weights section.

“Because I rest like a freaking weirdo [laughing],” Sam captioned the post.

The camera angle failed to show if there was a bench that she could have sat on instead of sitting on the floor with her knees up.
