I ordered a hot firefighter costume for Halloween – what I actually got was such a fail, I'm in tears | The Sun

EXCITED for costume parties and bowls of candy, a brunette beauty ordered a sexy firefighter outfit online.

What she got, however, was a far cry from hot.

TikToker Abbey Adams (@aabbeyaadams) may never trust an online store again after the costume she ordered arrived looking nothing like the photo.

Hoping to look hot on Halloween, she ordered a firefighter costume that featured an image of a model rocking the look.

It included a fitted mini skirt with suspenders, a low-cut tight tee, and a plastic red helmet.

When she tried it on, however, she quickly realized it wasn’t what she was going for.

In the clip, Abbey used the popular voiceover that said, “I’m literally crying. Oh my god, OK. This is what I wanted, PK?”

She then flashed to a photo of herself in the costume: Not only was it missing the suspenders and the helmet hat, but the actual dress fit her like a potato sack.

It was lacking any shape and failed to hug her body in any of the right places.

“This is what I got,” the voiceover tearily said.

When it comes to costume fails, however, she isn’t alone.

A mom of twins said the outfits she planned for the little ones' first Halloween didn’t go as well as expected.

With her creative juices flowing, she wrapped her twin babies in bandages stained with red to mimic blood.

"It did not turn out as we expected, I was terrified," she said.

The mom recounted her vision that turned haywire: "The initial idea was for them to be CUTE baby mummies."

People agreed that the costumes were maybe not the best idea.

"I thought they were tampons," said one shocked viewer.
