I ran the Malibu half marathon with 28J boobs – I only realized the damage my sports bra had done when I got home | The Sun

A FITNESS fanatic with a bigger bust has shared the damage she did to her chest after running a half marathon.

The woman, who wears a cup size 28J, showed her followers the injury that resulted from her sports bra.

In her video, Jen Warnes (@itsjenwarnes) explained: "As a girl with a larger chest who ran a half marathon at the weekend I did make one slight error."

The TikToker showed her audience a selfie she took while running the Malibu race.

She said: "At this moment, I was so blissfully unaware, I actually wasn’t in any pain during the race itself.

"It was only when I got home and showered that I noticed the damage that had been done."

After removing her sports bra, Jen noticed the severe chaffing just under her cleavage.

She explained that she had worn her sports bra for multiple races and never encountered the issue.

However, she did acknowledge the additional support provided by tighter-fitting tank tops and her hydration vest in the past.

"Anything over a 10k I have to wear a T-shirt because I get armpit chafing that’s when I wear this kind of thing," Jen said, showing viewers a picture of her race day look.

She added: "These T-shirts are quite thin so they don’t have the same level of hold to them but they’re very comfy."

Jen also decided to forgo her hydration pack as the race route provided plenty of water breaks for runners.

Showing the chaffing two days on, she said: "That definitely was where I went wrong.

"I have had this sports bra for so long and worn it so much that the elastic is completely gone in it and I need to get a new one," she said.

Jen continued: "I think this was just a lesson to me that I need to find a T-shirt that has a thicker fabric that’s going to give me a level of hold and compression to it too.

"So I definitely will be making sure that those two things happen before the next time I attempt to run this far again."

The fitness fan highlighted that running was not the issue and pointed out the countless races she participated in without injury.

Jen's followers took to the comments section to share their thoughts on her injury.

"Oh my gosh. You’re a genius. I’ve been having a similar issue and couldn’t figure out why I was suddenly having an issue," one viewer said.
