I saved £6.7k flying to Turkey for a gastric sleeve – I’m sick up to three times a day, it's not for the fainthearted | The Sun

A WOMAN who flew to Turkey for a gastric sleeve has warned how it's "not for the fainthearted."

Soph, who posts about her journey on TikTok (@sophgotsleeved), decided to go abroad for the surgery because it was £3,300 rather than the £10,000 it would've cost in the UK.

Alongside a video shared online, she explains: "Nine weeks ago, I flew to Turkey for a gastric sleeve and I’ve had my share of troubles since.

"This journey isn’t easy and definitely not for the fainthearted but I’d do it all again if I had to."

In the clip, she begins by saying she has "no regrets," before going on to share some of the things she's struggled to deal with since surgery.

First up is the sickness.
