A TIKTOKER says that cutting her own hair led to disastrous results when she got carried away snipping her bangs.

Bettie Wood, 24, revealed the results of what she says was an at-home "pixie cut" that didn't turn out as planned.

"[Do you] ever think to yourself, 'Pixie cut sounds great. I'd look great in a pixie cut'?" she said in a video posted last week that has earned a million and a half views.

At the beginning of the clip, she zoomed in closely on her face, her hair disaster hidden outside the camera's frame.

"And then you just start cutting your bangs. And then you just never stop," she continued.

Here, she zoomed back to reveal what her head looked like.

"I look like a beetle," she insisted, showing a super-short, straight 'do with bangs that come about halfway down her forehead.

"I look like Cersei Lannister when she got shamed. I look like coconut head," she went on.

In the caption, she said she "tried to give myself that Julie Andrews look" – to which a commenter replied: "Tried to get Julie Andrews, got Julius Caesar."

"It is the Holy Warrior, Joan of Arc," wrote another commenter.

Others said it was giving "friar vibes" and that Bettie was "lookin good friar."

Others compare the look to Will Byers from Stranger Things, Stuart from MadTV, and Uncle Fester from the Addams Family.

"It’s giving beautiful acorn vibes," said one more.

Fortunately for Bettie, she's not actually stuck with the terrible cut.

In a follow-up video, she revealed that the unfortunate hairstyle was actually a $40 wig – much to the relief of viewers.
