They replied: "I did actually I said I’m thinking of shaving my head they said they’d prefer if I didn’t but do what I need to do.

"Also it’s my appearance it shouldn’t have to be approved by anyone but myself honestly weird to think otherwise."

A third claimed: "Bridesmaid rule number 1: don’t take attention from the bride. she has every right to kick you out."

Aysh commented: "Why on earth would I try to be taking attention away from one of my best friends? I am literally trying to be comfortable with myself."

They also added: "**BTW I said I did not feel comfortable wearing a wig ALSO the cost of a wig especially for one day when I’d never wear it again is unreasonable.

"And I look good I’m not gonna let anyone tell me I need ‘hair’ to suit their wedding I’m better than that."

They continued: "Yet another disclaimer: of course it’s her wedding she can do what’s she likes the story is just funny 🙂 also she was one of my best friends of 9 years, trying to “steal attention” was never one of my interests.

She looked so beautiful also all eyes on her."

Despite some people taking the bride's side, plenty of people supported Aysh for not wearing a wig.

One wrote: "Yaaaa that screams insecurity on the bride’s part imo. You look amazing bestie."
